With all that said, I live in this fucking idiotic town and I haven't heard anything about this. I will point out about 15 years ago a Portland State University student tried to ignite a bomb at the annual tree lighting ceremony. He was of some kind of middle Eastern decent. Though he was tried and convicted of terrorism, when all the details came out it was pretty clear the kid was a patsy. Basically federal agents contacted him and spent months talking him into doing it. He didn't even come close to completing the job. I think the device he ended up building was a dud.
