If you don't have anything better to do, maybe listen to the fella for just a couple of minutes, I think he's pretty entertaining as far as these analysts go. If he's credible? I get a sense that he's mostly no a BSer but I'm sure others like chaos and Coach would disagree just on principle.

If Necrosis sees this I'd like to hear his opinion on the frontal lobe dementia theory Barnes believes in. Barnes claims he regularly talks to people who interact with Trump daily and Barnes describes the behavior as Toddler-like as of late and not at all like the old Trump.

On Trump, I think what we're seeing is pretty standard age related decline . About average for an 80 year old, nothing dramatically worse. (and much higher functioning than either Biden or Reagan)
That segment around the 15 minute mark is interesting, where they talk about Vance having a deal in place, Trump agreeing, and then walking it back. Who knows exactly what happened. It could be true that Trump was just being a classic billionaire blowhard, the George Steinbrenner type from Seinfeld. But it could also just be his negotiation style. Either way, I completely agree with the take that Vance was trying to pull him back from war while slimy Lindsey Graham was pushing him toward it.
