You are not centrist. You cannot even be honest with yourself about how far left you really are. How's that white guilt working out for you?
I am all for policies that help everyone. Being a centrist doesn't mean i am in the middle on every issue ffs it means I have some left leaning beliefs and some right leaning beliefs and am not married to anyone of them.
Whatever makes the most sense and is the most fleshed out.
The right require certainty, this has been studied, they prefer binary options and do not do well with complexity. The left are better with complexity and paraconsistent logics but take it to the extreme like the gender fluid nutters who don't understand that process doesn't mean there are no "things or pivot points" but that metastable categories do in fact exist.
He seems to be genuinely be trying to make New York better and use his position for good, not self profit or motive. Now, we could debate the merits of his positions or if they will actually accomplish their goals but he isn't a full on bullshitter like most politicians and isn't in it for self.
If his net worth skyrockets and he starts hunting down republicans I would quickly change my opinion.
I am more of a John Mccain guy then a trump guy, one has class, integrity and principles the other is a narc out for self-promotion.
You are extreme right which is why I appear left to you, relatively speaking I suppose I am. There is no such thing as good or bad, right or wrong, I lean into that and all its implications you seem certain that you are right and that it exists objectively.
