not triggered or melting down just meeting fire with fire.

ya wow clearly thats the spiritual way to handle it  ::)
Spirituality handles criticism by reframing it as a tool for personal growth, ego dissolution, or an opportunity to practice humility, compassion, and detachment. Instead of reacting with defense or anger, a spiritual approach encourages viewing criticism with calm awareness, separating one's true self from the ego being judged, and responding with, or offering, silent love.

absolute 100% phony human being

Ro,
You lack explosiveness most likely due to your bodybuilding training.
This type of training, while good for hypertrophy, actually is negative for developing explosiveness.
Arnold, while having a fantastic physique, also lacked athletic explosiveness.
You can improve explosiveness.
Speed in punching can be improved.

Check this out:

In terms of long-term training adaptation, regularly moving fast will train us to be fast.

How fast can you run a 40 yard dash?  Under 5 sec is pretty good for your age.
How high can you vertical jump?  Over 20 inches is pretty good.

Power cleans and high pulls are good for developing explosiveness.  Sets of 2 reps.

Practice each type of punch for speed.
