See this is why you are impossible to have a conversation with. You are always condescending. I also said try and stop them.

I realize he has zero control technically- he has wanted to federalize elections via his comments and he has shown that he can do as he pleases and congress will not intervene. He started a war without approval- I believe others have before him.

He is going to lose the mid terms (HE in the party sense as the head) and is trying to avoid that, much like he tried to avoid conceding power in 2020.

Do you deny he lost the 2020 election? if so then there is no real point in this particular conversation.

You are such a dishonest troll.  Crying about someone being condescending when you repeatedly say stuff like this:

Listen to the two morons with no education in the field acting like they know anything lol.

Complete lack of self awareness.

A person with an ounce of humility would acknowledge that their contention the POTUS can cancel midterm elections, when the POTUS has zero ability to do that, is a pretty bad political take.

Necrosis

what part of try and stop the elections did you not comprehend?

He can't stop the peaceful transfer of power but he tried.

The verb try alters the meaning of what I am saying from what you are asserting I am saying, that he will and can stop the elections to he will try and stop the elections via emergency.

What happened here is you are so worked up and contrarian to everything I say you didn't stop to process what was said but instead set up a strawman. The words are right there, I did not intend nor say what you are suggesting I said. It cannot be read coherently in any other way.

If the argument is he will not do or attempt to do things he cannot then the east wing destruction, slush fund and other ridiculous overreaches and attempts serve as a clear counterargument.

So here is an opportunity for you to show humility and admit you jumped the gun, time to practice what you preach. In return i will stop trolling.

You are now saying:  "he will try and stop the elections via emergency."  This makes no sense.

1.  The International Emergency Economic Powers Act allows the POTUS to declare a state of emergency, just like he did during Covid.  But his emergency declaration didn't control what happened in individual states, which is why each state declared their own state of emergency.  If you disagree and think I'm wrong, please point out exactly where in this Act the POTUS has the ability to usurp state law when declaring a state of emergency:  https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/50/chapter-35

2.  The midterm elections involve each state electing their own representatives and select states electing senators.  Those elections are controlled by state law.  The POTUS declaring a state of emergency under the Act will have zero impact on each individual state's election in November.

3.  In other words, statements like these are just illogical:

You have a clown in charge. If you think he isn't doing everything in his power to steal the mid term elections then you are naive. The guy is a crook.

Do you want me to go through the fact pattern that leads one to believe he is attempting to usurp the mid-terms? I think it would be a colossal waste of my time as it appears trump can do no wrong in your eyes. He literally tried to stop the peaceful transfer of power. It's documented.

4.  I'm still waiting for you to go through the fact pattern that will allow the POTUS to usurp or steal the midterm election in November.
