Someone saying they are "natty" immediately puts them into some type of grifter category for me because the term has no agreed-upon meaning. What the hell does it mean? :D

I remember in the 90s when I started lifting some older fellas in the gym thought taking STEROIDS! was metaphysically EVIL and I always thought they were really, really stupid. They were inspecting new members for any signs of steroid use giving them side eye. When I started in my first "real" gym the owner came up to me and called me a druggie because I benched 350 LOL (had not taken steroids yet). Even now in some gyms some boomers call the cops if they suspect someone is on the evil steroids. True story :D

Bhanky is an example of a true natty.

Compare anyone claiming natty to Bhanky.

Pretty obvious to me.

For me it's not that obvious. For example some would say an Olympic athlete who plays by the rules as they are written is "natural." But all elite athletes are on all sorts of drugs to allow them to perform, for example anti-inflammatories, hard to find a single one who doesn't ever take NSAIDs. Take a top soccer player, how often do they see sports docs and how many prescriptions do you think they have?

Say one bodybuilder takes clomiphene to raise test. Another takes "natural" supplements from "GNC" that raise test (some do work to a degree). A herb that works is a drug. There is no difference between a supplement and a drug. The only difference is legality, sometimes, and banned lists. Remember, WADA wanted to ban creatine back in the day. Coffee is a PED that is a stronger stimulant than many banned stimulants. Cannabis is a banned PED and it's just a herb. You can drink coffee but you can't drink opium tea or take cannabis edibles. The "banned lists" are completely arbitrary.

Now, testosterone and the derivatives are things that if a bodybuilders hasn't used them then it could be said they haven't dipped into the really powerful PEDs. But as I've said before, the so-called natural bodybuilders, if they are steroid free, they still usually use a shit load of supplements (drugs), usually many more drugs (supps) than steroid users.

I'm long winded :D

by drugs I mean performance enhancing drugs (steroids)

To make sure all athletes were on an equal footing they would have to all have access to the same foods , training facilities and rest periods

They dont and they never will, someone in some shit hole 3rd world country is always going to be at a disadvantage to someone from a first world country

I know pretty much every single Gold medal winner in history was taking some kind of drug when they were available.

Look at Jonathon Edwards triple jump world record holder since the 90s

Guy outjumped everyone by a country mile but was a devout Christian and didnt compete on Sundays because of it...

Surely he wouldnt have been using drugs?

Or was he?

Most BB are very small men stature-wise.  Even most of the "big guys" are like maybe 6'0" which isn't that tall for the general population.

Average male height in the Netherlands is a little over 6 feet.
