He should be praised, instead of chastised, for the sacrifice he is making for the sport.

He is one of the 5% who Rich spoke of who will do whatever it takes.

Worth it because of the incredible financial rewards of having a pro-card.

Would you say great monetary rewards would compensate for poor health and early death? People always say bb is not worth it because there's no money in it so why risk your health? I never saw much logic in that.

Regarding health risks of steroids, Coach mentioned seeing Andreas Cahling recently. He has a certain perspective. I think Coach started steroids at 15 via doctor's Rx.

An anecdote: a lifting buddy told me 30 year ago that he used to sometimes lift with Andreas and they would do GHB. Andreas would fall asleep on a bench and they roused him so he would go to the bathroom to do some blow.

Steroids might be very risky for young people from a mental health standpoint, mental health is more important than physical health. I did a tiny amount of tren at I think 18 and it triggered a mental health crisis to the point of not daring to touch any steroids for a year and a half. I didn't dare touch tren for two decades after that episode, it was that bad. After my recent surgery I've microdosed it for its type III collagen building effects; it's actually great for mood when microdosed (like 5-10mg a day). I did a shitload of tren a few years ago and you go to a very dark place LOL.

It was 17. Dr. Robert Kerr. Can't compare what we did back then to now. Outside of the gym it was basically taboo to talk about it in public. Now, social media has changed the world of bodybuilding. Kids (and coaches) who think they know it all in reality don't know shit. Kids are getting their cycles from instagram influencers who openly talk about their cycles, including some pro's. Most of the bodybuilders from my era when I started are still alive. Now, they're dropping like flies before the age of 40.

Well, the doctors back then didn't really know what they were doing either. They don't prescribe steroids to kids any longer. You were a medical experiment in essence. Or would you say it was right that they prescribed you steroids as a teen? I don't know how much you know about steroids overall, the technical details, the science... but many old bodybuilders think they know everything about steroids when they really don't. There's much more information nowadays, about the dangers. I think it's overall good that it's open. No one I've seen is advocating that kids take steroids. Most older bodybuilders didn't even care about blood pressure. Now everyone is checking on a near daily basis. Just as an example.

My first cycle was through Dr. Robert Kerr at 16. It was d-bol and then some :-\

You were already stacking your first cycle. See the smilie you used.

This is absolutely true. I remember when I was going to Kerr and when he retired it was Walzack. On of the drugs that was forgot in this scenario was Anavar, the little 2.5mg football shaped ones. It went something like this and the doses varied.......Deca, Test, D-bol and anavar. That combination it was no wonder why they were strong as f**k.

Maybe you didn't take all 4 your first cycle, but you took 4 steroids at once early on, including 2 orals.

Are you changing the age you started? I have pretty good memory when it comes to the drug aspect. Apparently I didn't grab the 15 number out of my ass. You now claim 17, this would suggest otherwise. Holy shit, you said this 18 years ago and I remembered.

Rob, what advantages was I born with? I built my small business with almost nothing. As for when I was 15.....I was working for gym after school so I had my own money. I think at that time it was costing something like $15 for 1/2cc of deca and about $40 for 100 dbol tabs and I was only taking 1-2 tabs per day. You can't compare then to now, thats a rediculous comparison.

I don't know who that guy is. Here's Andreas, apparently at 71 or 72. He had a stroke decades ago so one side of his face hangs.

We’re splitting hairs from 47 years ago hahahahahahaha

I simply asked you which is it? Though it is somewhat relevant, at that age 2 years is big; 35 to 37 isn't but 15 to 17 is, it's not splitting hairs. It shouldn't be shameful and you appear healthy now. If I could do it again I probably would have done some tiny cycles pre-puberty, under the age of 10. It could have had permanent positive effects, more satellite cells for example. I have posted about boys and girls having been prescribed Anavar cycles at that age apparently without negative long term effects. It's interesting. I think that Richard Sandrak guy didn't have stunted height growth for example. Doing Anavar, GH and anastrazole can increase height if taken at some point.

It is an interesting historical point of fact that doctors in the US gave 15 year-olds anabolic steroids. Many people aren't aware, they think things like that happened only in Russia or Poland.

The little Indian boy spotting me here took 10 5mg Russian Dianabol tablets and gained 20lbs. Benched 200lbs.

He calls it splitting hairs, but like I said 2 years is a big difference at that age and not something you would forget.

Stacking several anabolic steroids right out of the gate at 15 years old obviously doesn't sound all that great.

My first cycle was through Dr. Robert Kerr at 16. It was d-bol and then some :-\

You can't really fault a 15 year old for doing it I don't think, and especially when it's a doctor prescribing it. Kids don't think about consequences, they don't even know the potential consequences, and hindsight is 20/20. I do understand why Coach doesn't want to talk about him taking steroids so young so I do probably cut him some slack here.

However, older people complain about youths today doing dangerous things with PEDs due to how "open" everything is, while they obviously knew what the F they were doing. They didn't and the doctors didn't. The man who developed Dianabol cried about the damage he had done later on.

Quote
Later in his life, he was outspoken against its use in sport, saying "It is bad enough to have to deal with drug addicts, but now healthy athletes are putting themselves in the same category. It's a disgrace. Who plays sports for fun anymore?" Ziegler suffered from heart disease, which he partially ascribed to his experimentation with steroids,[citation needed] and he died from heart failure in 1983.

"I lost interest in fooling with IQ's of that caliber. Now it's about as widespread among these idiots as marijuana." In later years Ziegler regretted introducing AAS to athletes. He recollected "but I wish to God now I’d never done it. I’d like to go back and take that whole chapter out of my life."

I always believed it all should be open and transparent; I know if I had been exposed to the information out there today I would have taken several precautions and would probably have avoided some really consequential side effects.

If you look at even the most pro-drug influencers they always caution about teens taking anything, in my opinion in fact to a ridiculous degree. Like waiting until 21 or 23 or even your 30s LOL. Then you're supposed to start test only at 100mg a week and then only increasing very slowly "as gains halt." Now when bodybuilder like Jordan Peters talks about his first cycle being 500mg people are doing response videos about his "CRAZY first cycle!" So I'm not seeing all the supposedly irresponsible advice out there.

Greg Doucette talks about competitors doing CRAZY amounts that will kill them, like for example a little bit of test and 200mg of tren. If someone takes any orals at all they are taking their lives into their own hands.

Here's Greg's cycle. If this is what he conceded to doing it's a pretty safe bet it might have been even heavier.

This is what he claims he took at 8 weeks out going for his pro card.

Test: 700 mg,
EQ: 700 mg,
Masteron: 700 mg,
Tren: 500 mg,
Anavar: 40 ml before hitting hitting the gym and 20 ml later in the day,

(he means mg, so a total of 60mg a day)

Arimidex: 1 ml daily,
Cabergoline: 500 micrograms or 0.5 mg daily

GW501516: 10 mg.

Total: 3020mg

Coach was prescribed 4 different steroids at the same time by either Dr Kerr or Dr Walzak, including 2 orals. Everyone today cautions about using any orals at all, "why would you take the risk?" I happen to think they are being ridiculous but I'm making a point. It was an experiment done on kids. There was no long term data.

I always make these long posts but it just flows and I can't stop it, especially when it comes to Jews PEDs :D

the shame is getting caught out on the lie

I maybe cut him some slack here. When I first started posting here completely anonymously decades ago I was always careful not to make any outlandish claims, and I haven't I don't think, because I knew at some point I could be caught; even if it was minor things it's not great to be thought of as a liar or even as someone who tells fish stories. Lie about little things and people assume you lie about bigger ones.
