The problem is the promoter came on here numerous times bragging how much he know and how I should sit back and see how it is done and how he will be the model for all other promoters to model themselves after.  His constant bragging and having the know-it-all attitude I called on immediately,  Cause he knows NOTHING about promoting as does Issac knows NOTHING.  They have proved it more than once on this show alone.  And one of the most basic rules of promoting are to have the funds available for the prize money.  No matter what, ALL prize money should be secure and in an escrow account where nothing wrong can happen.  But, Sean said after all the years of competing and all his experience he KNOWS how to promote a show and Lift constantly telling everyone he is the best and all other promoters will learn how to really promote a show.  All they did was embarrass themselves, the IFBB, the competitors and fans.  No matter how much you keep saying it is the banks fault.  IT IS NOT.  It is the promoters fault and the IFBB for not making sure the money was secure in an escrow account.  As much as I think that bank statement is bullshit since we yet have to see the real thing, I will say it is real for the moment.  BUT that does not excuse the circumstances.  It should have never been in the situation where the bank even gets involved.  And the problem is no one comes on here to say it was their fault.

A little banking 101.  Open an account with money.  Write checks and make sure you have the money to cover them.  Simple.  The sad thing is the competitors are the ones who got fucked again.  BAd checks.  No money.  Yes the Colorado Pro WAS the 3rd highest prize money in the IFBB.  It has dropped down to last and its reputation is in the hole.  Next years show is going to suck.  If it even happens.  Hey maybe Kevin can help.  He seems to be so good at this stuff.  He knows everything.  Maybe those guys can put their heads together and form a rock.

And what about the Hummer being awarded to a sponsor.  What is with that

Did the Hummer really go to a sponsor?  That kept getting deleted, which usually leans toward a nugget of truth. 

I can say "Shawn Ray drives a VW Bus" and it'll stay up, as we all know it's silly and untrue.  But if someone asks if indeed a sponsor got a "4WD-rebate", it gets deleted. Hmmm.

Another question is who is the winner or the Hummer.  Now several people have said the winner actually works for one of the sponsors of the show.  If indeed he does just work for them, then usually he would be ineligible to win the Hummer.  Not to say how bad it looks when one of your sponsors win the grand prize.

I'm not talking about flyin ads, banners and all that jazz.  Advertisements which fit the content would do fine... esp in a text format... which blend in.  Hence... he would be able to run contests for t-shirt, supplements, tickets, and other things relating to the industry.

BTW... I come here to read and have a bit of fun like everyone else but I'd wouldnt have a problem winning autographed photos and so forth.

I don't know 240 but I do know Keith and can tell you that he has done more for the industry and the athletes and kids of all ages and illnesses worldwide than you are aware of.

I congradulate you for your similar efforts on behalf of disadvantaged kids (Golf tournament) but it really is a mistake to make that statement about Keith who has been helping kids and athletes and promoting events that would knock your socks off for more years than you have been competing.
