I will take in 100g of vitargo, 20g glutamine, 5g bcaa's and 60g wpi after a workout.
Have you tried Cellmass instead of Vitargo.  Never tried Vitargo, but have tried Cellmass, content with results.  Just wanna know if Vitargo is better.

Cellmass does not have enough carbs that are needed right after you work out, I use nutrix's vitargo and really like it, I only pay 30-35 for the large size so it's not that bad.

Is that the only reason that makes it better?

Monster imbalance on carb:protein ratio.

Who tells you to eat so little carbs and so much protein?

And why?

Luke left GB forever, about 30 minutes ago.

Therefore he'll be back answering your question in about 14 hrs.

The brutal geniuses in the supplement industry have you essentially buying a special kind of sugar (dextrose) for your postworkout drink, LOL!  I see many of you chug down the appropriate amount of whey isolate along with some glutamine (useless supplement folks) and perhaps even a special kind of creatine.   Unreal!  Let me ask you a question:  Are ya huge yet?  If not then why not run out and spend your hard earned money on some sugar, that'll get you huge in no time!  Don't want to miss that special "window of recovery"!  LOL!  The supplement industry OWNS so many of you, over and over again.  Odd how the most successful and massive bodybuilders of all time runs out to eat some chicken, rice, beans and cornbread after a workout and totally misses his "anabolic window of opportunity" since it takes several hours before the food is digested and yet he makes great gains.   His anabolic window must have an extension I suppose...

it does... its called anabolic support.
btw, when i started using dextrose, glutamine, whey, and creatine post-workout, I recovered much quicker and ultimately gained some size, approx. 20 lbs over the last 4 years.  So yes, it works. but you can get dextrose just about anywhere.

Please post before & after pictures of the huge gains made by the addition of sugar.  While you're at it please tell Coleman he's doing something wrong, maybe he'll hand over all of his sandows once he realizes the error of his ways.

Recovery after a workout:

1.) Rest - time off from weights. You can't accelerate this process
2.) Eat unrefined, healthy foods (this can't be substituted from a processed powder)
3.) minimize stress (more significant than you think)

I'll see if I can dig some off my old hard drive of "pre-dextrose" era.  I didnt start doing that until I was around 20... now i'm 24 so it would be wrong to say the gains are all dextrose of course.
Really, any relatively simple carbs post workout is a good idea,,, unless your dieting and on a serverly altered diet.
I didnt say Coleman was doing anything wrong... but I know its more economical and feasable for me to consume some very cheap dextrose and whey post workout, rather than sitting down for a full course meal at TGIF.
I dont think anyone will argue that get an insulin spike post workout in accompanyance of AA's and creatine would be a bad idea. Theres a fair amount of research to support this.

KFC is the worst fucking shit for you. Their fried chicken has the most trans fat in any fast food joint. And how the hell do you get a pump from drinking alcohol? Do you even lift weights?

Vitargo offers no advantages over maltodextrine, at least not for gym rats. However, it may offer some advantages for endurance geeks who ingest it DURING prolonged exercise.

I got myself one 50 lbs bag of dextrose and one 50 lbs bag of maltodextrin.

The dextrose cost me approx $45 and the malto $100.

I'm not buying carbs again until Derek Anthony wins the Nationals.

it takes several hours before the food is digested

It does not take several hours for your body to start digesting foods.  You will start assimilating foods you eat quickly.  Yes it depends on the food some faster than others, but none take several hours, most food spends less than an hour in your stomach.  To fully digest a steak? yes this may take a couple hours but most of the nutrients are being used shortly after eating it.

I use ETS a product from atlargenutrition. This has helped incredibly with getting lean and keeping size. I mean I am maybe 15 pound heavier this year and thats the only change I have made.

We're debating carbs.

Is ETS a carb product? No. It's not.

I like ETS myself, have used it with success before and will probably try to get hold of some more.

But ETS is not a carb.
