Don Long sent Muscleradio.com a couple pics of himself 12 weeks out. Don will be sending updated photos of his progress later this week...

He's on borrowed time, but he looks to be in some decent shape.
I wonder just how dry he'll be allowed to get at the show.

He uses a nocturnal dialysis machine at night for 8 hours, 6 days a week.

Fair comment but a high protien diet is a fucking nightmare on your kidneys, not to mention anything else he's taking. Just ask Flex Wheeler.

He said himself his protein intake is not high.

Every competitor plays "russian roulette" when they go to the extreme measures they do for shows. I've seen it on every level and doesn't matter if he has kidneys or not. Don is probably healthier then most of the guys he'll be comepting against for the simple fact he won't be on any dieurtics.

He said on the radio show he doesn't eat much protein. It was a good listen- they got pretty in depth with the nocturnal dialysis info. He's in good shape for a man with those problems. IFBB Pro Bber shape? Welllllllll... there's a reason he didn't send a pic showing the abs.

I hope you are right. I wish him the best. He looks good. While i appreciate all BB play russian roulette they don't all start out by being on dialysis.

Well, Don looks better what he once was. Lets see how he does at the Olympia, after Ronnie retires of course. That would be the smart move. I wouldn't even worry about competing against Ronnie I would just worry about training and when the times right the times right you know.

Dude what contest you following? Don isn't competing in the Olympia - the Atlantic City show. These were 12 weeks out from the show and will have updated pics soon to show his improved condition.

He looks bloody awesome i find it inspirational people can recover i have been battling cancer last 4 years one of my kydneys has been removed but i aint gonna give up.I find it disgusting that some of people or better say immature kids put him down instead of of wishing him luck all i gotta say GOOD LUCK GO GET THEM CHAMP

Normally, I would never wish ill health on anyone. But when someone shows such contempt for the value of their own life, it's very tempting.
