In the United States of American, a governor can only be for a state. Cities like Las Vegas and Reno have mayors, not governors.  Please revisit the history books, and make sure that Vegas and Reno, although some people think they are states, are really just cities. 240 - perhaps you need to go to a special elementary school classroom for the day and learn about states and cities, govorners and mayors. Do you know any special lady teacher that can help you?

No, I simply forgot the NV at the end...when someone brought it up, I changed it...then deleated the posts corosponding, as they would have made no sense and lended nothing to the thread...

 Yea thats true...I was about to say if I were running for GOV. I wouldnt be like..''yea yea...Im running for governor of Chicago, Illinois'' I would just say 'IL'. When people thing of NV...they automatically think of L.V. Some people I heard before actually refer to the state of NV as 'Las Vegas'.
