thanks all of you for associating homosexuality with tacky tasteless costumes and boring shows. Your right homos have never designed any beautiful clothes or put on any great shows, they are talentless when it comes to that....HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AA.

Everyone that lives in NY know the  best clubs and the best shows come from the gay talent in NY. Everything they create here is copied by the world. If Wayne had hired just one talented gay designer maybe the concept, costumes, lights and everything else would have been top notch and  state of the art. The reason the show was "gay" was because it was created by a bunch of straight morons who dont' have one ounce of creativity.  I have news for you...that was one straight show.

Show those pics to anyone straight guy and they will all give you the same answer.

exactly because they all have no taste, and are brutally unaware of who controls art and style. Do you think any gay designer/director would put a show like that on? You need to get out of the midwest son. The entertainment part of the PDI show was an epic heterosexual train wreck.

One thing that I think would make BB more exciting would be a "teams" competition.  I noticed when I went to the military shows on Pearl Harbor how exciting and loud it was.  Every competitor had a hugecrowd supporting him.  The Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force and even the Coast Guard all had cometitors in the show.  When one of the fellow military men was on stage their group went crazy.  I mean it was awesome the support they got.

I think they should get a team competition going between supp companies.  Have a Muscletech team, Vyotech, VPX, Metrx etc.  Then they could have theirown routing section.  A special "team" prize can be given to the wining team too. More money.  Maybe each team has to put in $10,000 or so into a pot and whatever team wins gets to split the pot. It might make the whole thing more exciting.

The whole idea of dressing up and anything like it HAS to go.  That does not make it a better show for the crowd.  In fact, it is embarrassing to watch.  Just have a bodybuilding competition with unbiased (as much as possible) judging and good athletes and you have a winning formula.  The bodybuilding world doesn't want the other crap!

Actually, Bob... you CAN give away every single ticket and still have a successful show, provided you earn $ in other ways.  And as we all know, many businesses run in the red for the first 12-18 months.  The PDI is a new business.  If they choose to operate at a negative cash flow for a bit, what business is it of yours?  Many great businesses will struggle for a bit while winning over their fan base and loyal customer list.

They're new and cannot yet sell 1500 tickets.

Does it make you feel "bigger" to point this out, even though it's a normal part of many business operations?

So when an IFBB show fails to turn a profit its a failure, but when a PDI show tanks it's "all part of the plan". you guys are funny

I agree with Onlyme that bb contests are usually boring. I agree with Chick that costumes are probably not the way to go.

Will Chick ever post here as himself instead of as his official position in the IFBB? His opinions and posts are now totally predictable.

Dear Abby:

Let me get this straight...

If a bodybuilder dresses up as G.I. Joe for a photoshoot for no money, it's cool.
If a bodybuilder dresses up as G.I. Joe for a contest to win money, it's gay?
