Tres Bennet and Lee Thompson are please to announce that the 2010 NPC Jr. USA has been moved to Houston (Stafford), TX on August 28th! The venue is the Stafford Centre’ ( http://www.staffordcentre.com ). The contest hotel, Marriott Residence Inn (Marriott Courtyard for overflow) in Stafford has small kitchenettes and is beautiful. Food and shopping within walking distance. Stay tuned for updates.

MSNBC.com recently ran a story on the two child stars of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ and the lead photo was the children with IFBB Pro Bodybuilder George Farah. The story talks about the kids’ poor attendance at school and are at risk of losing their trust fund. George is currently in India on behalf his sponsor, Optimum Nutrition. The IFBB Professional League has released the 2010 Calendar of events schedule. New additions to the schedule are the Phoenix Pro on February 20, 2010 and the Europa Battle of Champions in Hartford, Connecticut on July 23-25th. There are a six pro bikini shows slated for the new season, however the first show will NOT be at the Arnold. The Arnold Weekend added Men’s 202 event instead of bikini. I’m disappointed to see that the bikini pros will not get to debut at the Arnold as it would have been a great venue to launch the pro event.
