Again you are a 70 year old man you should be doing some basic lifting for about half an hour tops 3x a week. There is a reason every couple weeks you are injured and out for 3 months again
I`ve NEVER been injured from training cockbreath......unlike yourself.

I had Gall Bladder problems and had to take some time off,I was scheduled for surgery but I opted not to have it done....then I fell on ice and broke three ribs........NOW I AM BACK!!

I don`t train like an average 68 year old man because I am not an average 68 year old man.....I AM ABOVE AVERAGE, and not just training to be fit and trim,I`m gunning for a pro-card..........how`s your training going lately?  :D

Watch my smoke Hankins,I love proving my detractors and doubters wrong.....in fact I have always taken great pleasure in it and will do so in your case too.  ;)

Bhank - get this through that massive noggin of yours - volume training works! 

Here is what I did today and look and felt amazing.  Everything is healthy, no injuries, no hernias, no aches or pains - ZILCH

15 min warm up

45 min - 15 sets - Seated Press w 2 plates each side x 10 - each superset with 30lb bent over laterals, side laterals, upright rows eact. 

60 min -  BEAT MODE

10x Clean and press with 135 from the floor
30 sec walk on air runner
10x TRX rear delt raise
30 sec walk on air runner
10x - Squat + Landmind press with 2 plates
30 sec walk on air runner
225lb Trap Bar walk across gym and back
30 sec walk on air runner
10x - high pull w 80lb DB

30 min - walk on air runner at slow pace to cool down.

Dosed up on Tramadol now, just keep moving around, went gym trained legs
Leg extension leg curl and single leg leg press

Just did lots of reps with moderate weight

Last leg session before Sunday show
Carb up from tomorrow

Going to end up almost 14lbs heavier this show than last November
Hopefully the fullness with count with the judges
They score the posing round at PCA classic so hopefully I can claw some points there

& making each rep Controlled explosive power - heaving or jerking
as sure fire way to cause injury.

I am taking 6 weeks off from lifting due to a Hernia surgery and Dr orders. I still went surfing today. I was probably in the water about an hour paddling. Again not even being a dick you are doing too much you don't need advanced lifting techniques to go beyond failure at 50 after 4 months of training.
