Incline hoist bench press plate loaded 11 sets-135 each side 30,180 each side 15,225 each side 10,270 each side 5,5,4,4. 225-6,5. 180-10,8. This machine is awesome.

Db shrugs 110s-8 sets 20-30. Hard squeezes.

Db laterals 25- 8 sets of 20-25.

Face pulls stack- 8 sets 8-15 hard squeezes .

Rotary calf 8 sets hard squeezes.

Cool........I know the feeling......a break is all you need at times to  get your enthusiasm back and to avoid burnout.

Breaks,or de-loading time,is, or at lease should be, a part of everyones training regimen at various points in  their training IMO.

Just don`t be like me and plan a week off that turned into a 7 year drunken binge......not a great time in my life to say the least...........my mother died,I lost my job,my girl left me, and didn`t give a fuck at the time, so it was quite the extended layoff.  :D

I’ve done 495 for a triple and 500-515 for a single. Touch and go not the prettiest form. I say I did 500 my buddy and a gym owner always say it was 515 so not sure what it was. I was just psyched to hit 5 plates so didn’t really care about anymore than that so just kept hitting 495 until I got 3.

I was 255-260 on either 250 mgs of test and 200 mgs eq a week or 400mgs of eq a week can’t recall exactly. I think it was prob just eq.

I was benching 405 natural for 4-5 and started eq at 200mgs a week and after 4 weeks went to 400 mgs weekly and my bench went form 405 4-5 to 405 for 11.

Yeah I loved Bench pressing, now I hate it. And tell people not to do it. Definitely small amounts of juice can do wonders. I’m not really into weight these days but I do like going heavy on something’s just for my sub conscious ego haha.

There are over 100 exercises and everyone wants to know what you can bench.  I think most like it because it's and exercise you lie down on a bed to do so it's not taxing. The gyms are full of bench and curl guys. How many guys do we all know that can bench more than they can deadlift?

Same here,I do either DB or Smith Inclines with Flyes......I`m working slowly on getting my Dips back up to par.

January 15, 2024

TRAINED ABSOLUTELY NOTHING:


I start my week with legs.........I literally crawled in the snow and ice all the way to
town.....I never went above 30 MPH..........stopped to fill my gas tank,then a fucking veritable blizzard took over with tons of show and whipping fucking winds.......this was enough to say fuck it as the weather up here in unpredictable.

Stopped at the store.....picked up food,and drove 30 MPH back home on icy roads.


Seems like the weather is gonna be worse this coming week with more snow and 6-8 degree high temp days, so Ill be training at home tomorrow unless conditions change.

I can`t do justice to a leg day at home as I simply don`t have the equipment needed to do so, but lunges,goblet squats,step-up and RDL will suffice I guess as I have no choice.

I was, and still am very enthusiastic cuz my training has been going great, but a light week might just be the ticket anyway....at any rate I won`t lose anything unless I venture out again like a dummy and wreck my car.

We`ll see what tomorrow brings.

really fortunate the gym I go to has a chest section with gymleco, hammer, panatta, life ftiness, nautlius, atlantis, benches with pivots, dbells to 100k etc etc etc

absolutely spoilt for choice on all bodyparts.

Nathan is currently about 290 I think and looking huge, really round delts, huge arms and his back has come on massively. I don't know what shows he is doing but think he will only do a couple- he will do well. Leads from the front and trains properly all the time every bodypart. Oneo fhis training partners is currently 23 stone. Huge!


Oh today was back thickness

Panatta dorsey row- 3 x 20/15/10
straight pulldown- 3 x 20/15/10
bench barbell row (love these nice and slow get a great contraction mid lats)- 3 x 10
life fitness close grip row- 3 x 12
head harness raises 3 x 10
hyperextensions 3 x 15

really enjoyed this session- one of the lads told me to take a bit longer between sets. I have also started weaing wrist straps on the final heaviest set of each exercise

little changes but making. a big difference

However, let me just say if USA Wrestling didn't fall under WADA/USADA I would be competing now.  I also have cauliflower in my left ear it isn't that noticeable because I am a badass who self drained it daily with a needle as a 16 year old kid.
