Well, he did say he was going to surround himself with the best people. A few of his best have been indicted.

Funny thing is that Manafort was working closely with the Podesta brothers during this time period.

All I know is this is part of the Mueller investigation and doesn't look good for team Trump.
Having a journalist spouting an opinion is one thing.
Having your former campaign chair's bail revoked and taken to jail is another.
Trying to tamper with a GOV witness is a serious additional charge.
You can explain how this "doesn't look good for team Trump" I'm sure...

Sorry coach but you dropped the ball. You tried to infer that the person who appoints a person to a position automatically makes that person a pawn. You said Obama appointed the judge who sent manafort to custody therefore we can assume it was political. Yet Rosenstien was appointed by Trump, therefore, using YOUR logic, we can assume every decision is pro Trump. YOU need to keep up with your own nonsense

This very likely plays into the decision. He is suspected of witness tampering, which I believe is in violation of his bail release as well. I'll be very surprised if he doesn't go down for something. They've mounted such a massive case against him.
Trump appears to be distancing himself for Manafort. It is an example of Trump's one sided loyalty. -Not sure what Trump's strategy is with Manafort. It seems early in the game to throw him under the bus, particularly if Manafort has bargaining chips up his sleeve.

A judge thought the evidence was sufficient to have him stand trial and be locked up pending trial. What the judge didn't say is there is a "massive case" against him. Nobody has any idea whether this case is "massive case" or a house of cards.
