Maybe the Lakers asked him to stay since they're paying him something like $25 million.  Maybe they can recoup some money back on the Kobe Retirement tour.

As for the team of the decade, the Warriors are still crushing it and Curry has ice in his veins in the clutch.  Seriously his shot is pure art.  I bet you from an overhead view the ball enters the net perfectly in center.

Agree, the Lakers are going to market the shit out of this retirement tour, they waisted like 75 million these  last 3 years on him

The way he plays, curry could probably  play 30 years in  the nba

Golden State Warriors 19-0

Luke Walton the Greatest coach of all time ???

Or can a case be made that NBA teams dont even need a Coach, they can Play from now on without one  ???

THey cannot wait for him to get injured or have a season/career ending injury.

he plays like he has zero respect for the game, the players and the coach. He launched 17 3's.

He is such a bad example to young players. He refuses to adapt. just become a fucken mentor to the young kids you old freaken hog.

Sixers guards are players i never heard of and they were destroying him. Kobe just stood on the 3 pt line launching bricks. pack your shit, take your mexican video hoe wife and ugly kids and GTFO.

Curry's legend continues.  24 straight points in the 3rd.  dude is having a season like no other.  he could be shooting 60+ points about 4 times this season if he didn't sit out the 4th

The Warriors are so fun to watch. Kind of like the "Greatest Show on Turf" Rams, or the 2007 Patriots.

All action, all of the time.

I hope some fucked up coach doesn't send in a scrub player to hurt Curry.  I know that asshole Blatt tried that with Delevoda and he was aiming for Curry's knees.

bellabadova took out some hawks and I think one of the bulls on the cavs run.  He realizes situations where the ball is exactly between where he and the opposing player, then "just dives for the ball".  It happens nonstop with him.  And I could legit see him taking out a Curry and costing him a year of basketball.

LOL @ announcers talking about all the "intensity" that bellabDiva shows.  He's just dirty.  Shoulder coming in contact with opponents legs over and over.

Anyone think Luke Walton will get the Knicks job?  Didn't Jackson draft him?  You know Luke is going to be a hot commodity in the off season.

Everyone knows it was a farewell tour gift.

I was talking to someone about this last night.

Did Jordan start his last season in the league just because he was MJ?

If i remember correctly, Vince Carter beat out MJ in votes, but let MJ start ahead of him anyway.

At the time I don't think it was 100% fan votes.  Could be wrong though.

What else would it have been? Vince had more fan votes than Jordan,  starters have always been fan selected, Stern asked/forced him to step down so Jordan could get the farewell send off. That whole weekend was a homage to MJ, Marah Carey wore a 50/50 Bulls/Wizards Jordan Jersey dress.

I think it factored into but the coaches had a final say.

Coaches only pick the starter when the fan choice is injured/unable to play. Vince had more fan votes, but he stepped aside, similar to Tim Hardaway doing the honors for Magic Johnson.

Bryant, who posted 10 points on 5-of-9 shooting and five turnovers in 25 minutes through three quarters, became upset both with the Lakers (9-37) for losing their sixth consecutive game and for some on the team smiling after the loss, sources said. Bryant took particular aim at Lakers rookie point guard D’Angelo Russell and second-year forward Julius Randle and even called them out by name, sources said.

What did he say about Russell? I am not a fan of that kid.
