This, Arnold still has it... I actually liked The Last Stand, no bullshit classic action movie, even if it got criticized a lot, hoping Sabotage can be even better... I fucking hate CGI shitfests, give me any 70s, 80s and early 90s action movies any day, with real action and charismatic actors...

Also, as you age it's much easier to keep your arms pumped up compared to the larger muscle groups. Large groups require compound movements = higher injury potential.

Arnolds physique still inspires, 1 thing i noticed is he doesn't look atrophied or broken down, just the same old shape just toned back from the competition days. Shoulders looking solid and wide, chest is always huge, his calves are always big.
Surprised no ones said it yet "wider than heath" :)

I want to know one thing is he on anything and whats the dose, he might have been a bodybuilder and may have not always made the best decisions, but I couldn't see him doing something to negatively effect his health at this age, I would like to know if he is using anything how his doctors are countering any negative effects that could be a consequence.

We know he has to take beta blockers to keep his heart rate under a certain rate since the heart surgery.

He had knee surgery way back in the 70s and walked with a cane not to long ago. It wouldn't surprise me if he had both his knees replaced and that's how he lost his height??

I met Arnie many times when I was younger. He was very accessible at the first Arnold Classic (1989). Stood right next to him and got a few pics with him.
There is no way Arnold was 6'2" then... he was 6'0" tops. Now, he seems around 5'10" or so.

And I think 6'0" is being generous for present day Arnold. It's as though his upper torso (spine) has just collapsed on itself. I think he's also had a hip replacement (which contributed to Lou Ferrigno also losing height).

No, he was very much that height before height loss kicked in. He was measured by our friend Vince Basile in 1969, BAREFOOT and at night (your lowest height) and he came out to 6'1.5" according to Vince. He was also taller than many legit 6'0" men in his competition days. Just look at his body now, compared to the 1990's and before. It's obvious that it's very compressed.

Same thing happened to Hulk Hogan who has lost a tremendous amount of height. He was 6'6" legit up until 1990 and is under 6'3" today, due to hip and knee replacements, neck fusion, several spinal fusions.

Look, i really don't want to start another endless debate about Arnold's height, but here in Europe it's pretty well know that he was 6' at best peak, nothing more than that... Around 5'10 for Arnold today barefoot... Just like Ferrigno was never ever 6'5 or 6'4, but a strong 6'2 peak... People act as they magically shrunk and losed a lot of inches, but it's bs... Contrary to Hulk Hogan who had lots of surgeries and problems after a life of ring action, and shrunk from 6'5 peak to 6'2, they lost nowhere near the same, both Arnold and Ferrigno were just never that tall for a start...

I am 5' 9 1/2" and Sergio is slightly taller than me so at least 5-10. I picked him up from his hotel in Sydney in 1982 and in his boots he was over 6 feet. You should have seen him. Tight singlet, tight trousers and the biggest muscles to ever walk downtown in Sydney. He was at my gym and also at my home for a party in his honour.

Yes vince i always tell them how you measured him when this debate arises and considering your history have no reason to lie. Its obvious from photos and video back in the day he's easily over 6ft. I have a musclemag book that also explains how he was 6'1.75" as measured by them but for magazines it was simply easier to round up to 6'2"

Bodybuilding is an extremely narcissistic "Life style" So it's perfectly acceptable to go around with a measuring tape trying to get the exact measurements of the popular bodybuilders....
I remember going to a barbershop back in the day , while seated for my haircut the Barber reached to his pocket and took a measuring tape and very politely told me he wanted to measured my cold arm .... I said sure why not ....after he did you could tell he was so excited and couldn't wait to get done with me to go tell the world how big my arms were.

How do you explain that he's lucky if he can wake up at more than 5'10 today? He looks really average today, even with magic shoes, had he some sort of surgeries or injuries on his back or spine that we doesn't know about? Another evidence is his contest weight, how can a real 6'2-6'1.5 can look as thick and huge like him at the 1974 Olympia and "only" be 237lbs? It make no sense to me...
One thing I've noticed is that many people from North American seem to equate 6 foot with being 180cm (instead of the generally accepted 183cm, where an inch is 2.54 cm.)
I recall reading many years ago in an Australia newspaper that Arnold was 184cm tall - that explains the 6 foot 1 and a half business.
Of course, put him next to a legit 6'2" (188cm) person (like Jim Caviezel) and you know the truth...

Didn't know this actually... Me before saying that Arnold was 6' max peak, i meant 182-183cm, not 180cm only, this to be clear without misunderstanding... I will go as far as saying that Caviziel today is around 6'1, both with dress shoes, hard to tell who has more heels...

Unbelievable. Go ask Arnold. Mits was there as were Paul Graham and Bob Bruce. That is what the height gauge said and Arnold didn't dispute it. Trying to accurately gauge height from photos is guesswork and prone to errors. I never exaggerate things like measurements. I measured Arnold's arms at 21 1/2 in October 1968.

Fair enough mr. Basile, still i keep my opinion on 6' (182-183cm) for Arnold's peak... Arms measurement seems also a bit fanciful, was Arnold in massive offseason mode very fat? Coleman had that 21.5 measurement in 2004, at around 300lbs offseason, how can Arnold came close to that without today's drugs/oil protocols, even being taller than 5'10 max Coleman? In my opinion both him and Oliva had pretty close measurements at around 20 inches, at their biggest...

I did try on a 47mm Radiomir (PAM 021? I dunno) and liked it.. but i'll keep my 44mm Marina.. I need a date window.. only reason I look at my watch is to check the date. lol
my 50mm U-Boat is big enough.. too big.. I can't imagine a 60mm.. even if it was a panerai.

I wanted the 45mm PO not long ago.
I think Chopard came out with a 45mm model recently.. could be a re-release. I dunno.. I'm not usually a fan, but the one I saw was nice.. it'd be a toss-up between that and the 45mm PO, except for the price, you cant beat the PO. decisions.... :-\
