i can imagine people want to get on a picture with a pro, but just buying a stupid picture with "for Butch, train hard. your brother in iron Ronnie Coleman" is just plain pathetic.

Sergio Oliva charge $20 for an 8 x 10 and I think it was around $50 for a poster. And Louie at those comic conventions sells a few hundred pictures in 3 or 4 days. So he isn't doing to bad there and he gets paid to be there. Not bad money. Adam West and Burt Ward went to those shows back in the 80's and they were getting $20 a picture and told me at one show they would sell 1000 pics.

$20 bucks in the 80's would be equal to $50 bucks today, and Lou aint selling 1000's of pics.... he might make some spare change but he is not making much from it.
