Absolutely my favourite gangster pic. I know that The Godfather is a stone masterpiece, but this pic more resonates with me - probably because all the characters are unredeemable.

I was just having this conversation with my brother today , I think it has to do with it coming out in the 90s and the Godfather was when I was 2 and for some reason neither are dated movies , I can't watch Scarface today without cringing at how cheesy and dated that movie is

For me Goodfellas is right at the top along with Shawshank and Godfather 1/2

Agree. I totally prefer the original Scarface, despite Muni's emoting, and that guy was a total Getbigging ham.
