This can be tough as small boot makers can go bad with missed dates, etc...., or they rush and screw things up. That being said, I'd feel comfortable with Paul Bond or White's -

White's are more utilitarian, but I've not heard a bad word about them. They do a great job on fit.

Thanks man.  I have to hit the sack but I'll check these guys out tomorrow.

I gave Lucchese a call and the lady there was very helpful.  Led me to a good a spot on their site I failed to find with all the colors and materials.  Don't think I'll be spending for the aligators tho!
