Arnold Photos i Remastered in HD i can't upload the original picture because it's over 50 mega per picture, so i'll reduce the size as much as possible and upload it as a JPG file.....please download it from the computer and view it on the full screen
Got an Epson 850 Pro scanner so I have some photos for everyone. Here is a good shot of the comparisons of the place getters except Boyer Coe.
Again, I prefer Mentzer in this shot. A bit light in the pecs but very thick and balanced. Arnold's wide waist and skinny quads throws everything off in this standing relax position. Zane looks very complete and conditioned but just too skinny when standing next to Mike. Zane shines when he's posing alone. Roy Calendar's bow legs ruins everything. Too bad because he's in great condition and his upper body beats everybody standing with him from this perspective. Just not a fan of Dickerson and don't think he belongs up there with the top guys. Thanks Vince! Great pic!
I still prefer Arnold in this shot, his torso is way superior than Mentzers... only the quadz are hurting Arnold there .... is not like he had a gut or anything remotely close ... wide waist ? again, Mentzer isnt exactly Nubret or Bryan Buchanan .WoSH
Yea and if you zoom in and say compare arnolds right quad with mentzers arnolds is superior, way deeper separation and not slim in comparison.
Huh? Arnold is taller. A 28 inch thigh on a guy 6'2" compared to a guy with a 28 inch thigh at 5'8" would look a lot bigger on the shorter man. This is one of the reasons tall men are at a disadvantage in bodybuilding. It's hard to look filled out, especially in the legs since most of a person's height comes from the legs.In his era, despite constant criticism from the younger generation, no one came close to Arnold in his era when it came to legs. No one match his perfectly proportioned combination of calves, and quads along with the deeply etched separation he had in his quads. It's just in those days it was all arms and chest and, again, that is where Arnold ruled.
Yea I'm just saying we know his quads were down but if you flash your eyes from arnolds right quad to mikes it doesn't actually look slim in comparison, plus he's further away from the camera and the separation is superior.
I'm not sure what point you are trying to make. Arnold's quads were down for that show and were the main thing that brought down his physique. Everything else was top billing even though not matching his prime years. He didn't have to. No one has ever accused Mike of having small quads. For his height and body type his legs, both calves and quads in that era, were world-class.It's like saying Boyer Cole has small arms because Arnold's is so much bigger. Arms, biceps, was one of Boyer's strong points.
