My arms and delts are prob my strongest/best developed parts....my chest lags though. I tend to stick with more dumbells for my chest days and try to go slow and deep. Flat barbell press has always hurt my shoulders no matter how heavy or light. I did chest yesterday and DB pressed the 130s for sets of 8 clean reps (no Cswol reps) and after that did some flat barbell and even 185 hurts. DBs are my bread and butter.

It's made good progress over the years but still a tough bodypart. It's AKA Evan Centopanni Syndrome.  :D

hit up some pec deck work brother

Funny enough, done this yesterday. It didn't go well.

Take the following into account, I'm the lightest I've ever been since I was 17. Dropped ALL the whale blubber and going for solid muscle ala Galeniko, albeit smaller. But very little fat.

It's a headfuck since every last person I haven't seen for a few months, was shocked at how small I look. Though if I take my shirt off, I look better than before.

Anyway. The bench press then. It was in the morning, didn't have breakfast before I trained but I don't personally think I could've done much more had I eaten. I pressed 10 reps and had a spot on 3 reps. I think with a bit of training I can get it up to 20 reps but I don't bother with heavy training or PB's any more.

Smith machine squats are an epic fail, I laugh whenever I see someone doing it.

Since I started eating less than nothing my strength and energy levels have plummeted.

I'd be lucky to do 5 reps these days.

Can you go into more detail about this?

Lies aren't impressive in my book. I think you missed the point if you thought I intended to impress anyone. I never said I was strong. The bench press has always been a challenge for me.

It appears you have yet to master the art of quoting someone. Half the comments within the quote are from you and not from me. Did you mean to quote yourself?

I clearly highlighted your quotes in red and mine in blue - as to clearly differentiate.

I don't want to get into a pissing match with you.

Yaa, i am not strong (that was your original hypothesis was it not - hence my response with your own quotes)- i need the juice to do even 18 reps on the barbell bench press.

you train pecs twice a week?

i tried to bench again after 4 days since last bench workout and i got buried >:(

i could maybe train pecs twice a week with on day being a bench/floor press day and the other day being a pec deck day, so i'm gonna give it a shot

p.s. i did squats today after leg press and i did 225 for 4 reps, but they were only half squats BRUTAL!!!

but my leg press poundages went up, so that was good news

I hit everything twice a week. Usually a heavier day and a lighter day. Strength and size gains have been the best for me on this program. I'm a huge fan!

Many less than I could do 30 years ago... probably 2-3 reps now.  Shoulders will not permit.

Take heed younglings.

what do you mean by "heavier day and lighter day"?

do you mean low rep high rep or pushing til failure one day and working below failure on the other day?

So heavy days the rep range to fail at 4-6 reps.

Light days failing at 15-20 reps.

I Always go to failure though, I don't believe in stopping short of maximal stimulation, no homo.

It would be great if monster wrists were what it took to lift lots of weight in the bench because mine are 9". Sadly, there is no way I could hoist 500 lbs. on the bench for even one rep.

good stuff brother

i'm just starting this with my heavy day being 3-4 all out sets for 3-5 reps, and 3-4 all out sets for 15-20 reps on my light day
