So they accurately reported the result of the GAO findings as "entertainment"
that makes about as much sense as your impeachment nonsense
Jon Stewart reports on actual events. Using actual facts. Then he interjects his own entertaining mix of emotion, humor, sarcasm or wit.
Remove the humor and wit, you have exactly what cable news - such as fox and msnbc - deliver. They tell you the news, then they apply their own emotion and analysis.
Typical news story:
"Today, Obama visited Kenya" = the fact part of it.
"At home, america continues to burn under the rule of our evil dictator" = the analysis
"Hey, I guess he was feeling homesick for keyna" = their attempt at humor.
So yes, they would report GAO findings. Then they'd blame obama for it. Then they would try to say something funny that usually would flop.
