Ditto. The mid 80s to early 90s in bodybuilding was the same as the situation now - a few good pros here and there, but the field in general not as impressive as the guys from Arnold's era or from Dorian's time. Which is why I think it will get better again in a few years, since the trend seems to be cyclical like most things.

i dont think bb will be ever good again kiwi!!.. even if great bb appear fans dont give a big shit like before!.. just my opinion and i may be wrong of course..

It won't be like the 90s again, without the internet and only the mags to feed you what little news there is. That made things interesting and you could look forward to what was going to happen next. But with so much stuff online in terms of content (pics, vids, posts etc) and us endlessly discussing the same shit daily, it is going to get stale. Familiarity breeds contempt.

I think bodybuilding could go in another, parallel direction and be just as good/interesting if the pool of talent improves and the judging criteria changes to penalize things like guts and Synthol.

The guys have levelled out in terms of what mass they can add with all the drugs and training info out there. So unless something new comes along, like gene therapy, I think we might have the bodybuilders trying to be the best they can be with what they can achieve, viz. being 240-260 cut on the 5'9" and below guys, and maybe 10-20 lb heavier for the taller guys.

everything you fellas show is nice,, great bodybuild ,, but its not the best,, the best was withnessed for a period of 8 years,, few of them he wasnt in his best ,, but the years he was woudl be remembered as the best human being bodybuilder to ever walk earth,,
