Justin Compton - Doing the 2015 Arnold next year

IFBB bodybuilding isnt for him.

He has a back like Dennis Wolf, which means, he is missing a lower back and his delts overpower the rest of his back.
Since the late 90s, the guys that do well are the ones that either have that look and come out win or place high right out the gates, or the ones that slowly build up, like Roelly, Brandon Curry, Big Ben.

I see this guy may be placing ok, but he will not really improve upon his look, if anything, he'll be a mid packer to lower placings. He's one of those "potential" guys like Curry.

Placed third at the Olympia (went to third because Heath is Heath, and second was Kai, who has the thickest widest back on the planet)

I feel like he needs more hamstring mass and maybe more quad sweep. His back looks great though! Reminds me of an improved Dennis Wolf.

Edit: His tris also look like they're overpowering the rest of his upper body in the BDB

agreed on all points, but I think by the time the Reign  of Heath is over, assuming Justin can keep his waist small and still manage to come in lean,  he will be exactly where he needs to be

I'd love to see Compton as Mr. O. He really does have a complete package in terms of shape and conditioning. I would just like to see him improve his legs before he steps on the O stage, he could easily crack the top 5 with good conditioning and bigger legs.
Looking back at that BDB pic you posted, I think his triceps look weird because his skin color blends in with the stage background (looks like Dallas Europa?). Maybe with a different background color his arms would look better in the same pic.

You have to apply for the 2015 Arnold ... and then be accepted.

Many competitors apply for it, and do not get accepted to compete.

For the 2014 Arnold Classic, it is no longer in the Veterans Auditorium (it is being torn down).
 It will be in the convention center ballroom, one of the bigger ones.
 The statue of Arnold in front of the Veterans Auditorium will be moved to the front of the convention center.


He automatically qualified by winning the Europa. Should add a lot the the lineup with a full yr to improve.

Rhoden's and Justin's back disappear right in the middle. Justin's detail in the upper back also fades out, his arms and delts overpower his back in that pose.
The only saving grace that Rhoden has is that he has Flex Wheelersque shape...which is better than Justin's. and which makes people almost forget his weak back compared to his front.

One's arms/delts shouldn't overpower the back in a FDB pose...that being said, Justib has some great ham and quad detail. Great chest, calves.

And only to a certain level of muscularity. Not to the point where you have sweat stains under your armpits...
