It is only the white men who are portrayed this way. Black men or other minorities are shown to be wealthy, successful, or at the very worst normal.
By constantly bombarding society with these false messages, women and minorities can create a more believable fantasy that they could somehow make it without regular white men. Sorry...this isn't true. All professional sports, and the money black guys make (millions), is the direct result of regular white men's interest in those sports. We buy the merchandise, we go to the games, we make the money via pharmacetuical sales, retail sales, doctors, lawyers, bankers, construction managers, or other regular jobs.
What we are seeing is the fruition of hippies who happened to control the media outlets (radio, ABC, NBC, CBS) exclusively until cable, radio, and the internet came along and told the truth...rather than some LSD induced fantasy
