LOL ok so lets play along with your theory, what would your ideal system be?
My ideal system I don't have one I'm open to ideas, I acknowledge my limits, and would honestly like to hear what others have to say, but I feel this thread is just a bunch of people bitching about a movement they don't really understand. But with I were to make a short list of suggestions...
1) reform the education system so that it is more balanced(arts/commerce degrees should be far more common) regulate the loan/tuition structure.
2) Inforce some systems of laws that prevent monopolies or top heavy business structures from dominating the markets.
3) tax the top 1 percent more, and cut down the coporate tax to levels that are comparable to socialist canada. Making no change to revenue just the taxation structure.
4) cut military funding in a surgical way, to reduce waste and to keep a large demographic of people employed(ironically the military is the most socialist thing going).
5)Reduce imports by pushing the economy away from retail(mostly chinc goods) and to be more focused on services that cannot be outsourced(callcenters bad, meeting in person good
)
6) Reduce oil imports, by restructuring real estate values to be more focused on energy efficiency.
I'm personally a centrist, I despise taxation in all forums(other than whats necessary), yet I prefer regulation when it makes sense as taxation distorts the market, and I feel regulation restricts it.(which is often needed)
