D'Antoni really knows how to endear himself to the people of LA.  He comes in and immediately bashes two time NBA Champion Pau Gasol and then later tells the fans to fuck off.  Great PR, I'm sure Jim and Mitch are thrilled.  You have to love the immediate retraction too.  lol

is Phil still in the conversation? dude is approaching 70 yrs old, we all know D'antoni is gone after this year, who else is available. It seems like every teams recycles there coaches.

Lakers need to tank and tank hard, just need one good draft pick and take it from there, if they get the top 2 picks then I'm sure kobe will up GH and test cream and of course another flight to Germany for another round of blood doping and come back like a bat out of hell for one more decent year. Forget Carmelo that guy is just a great one on one player which means nothing in the NBA.

check the box score arce, how many free throw attempts did the lakers have, if its much more then the heat then yeah, but in fairness to the NBA, lebron and the heat are waiting for the playoffs, not some jackoff team, with a jackoff coach.

Good for Kobe.  I wish the NBA had more players like him.  I'm still a believer.  I just hope it doesn't turn into a Jerry Rice situation.  He was an iron man until he tore up his knee.  Was never the same. 

But we shall see.  I'm rooting for him.

Yep.  Father Time doesn't play around. 

That said, I don't fault Kobe at all for chasing championships.  How many players truly do that today?  Not enough IMO.
