I'm cautious of signing on to the superior thing even talking culturally. Just guessing here but I think what we see here is a population that is still in the dark ages culturally. These people didn't have the Renaissance that we did. If you look at that state of Christianity back in the day, it was as brutal as Islam is today. Then of course you had all these guys who had to do their scientific exporations and really all explorations outside of the church underground, but they kept at it and eventually through the history we all know of the west, were able to breach the confinds of the church where we see the ultimate potential of free individuals. This just never happened in the Arab world and it's unfortunate. They are indeed stuck where we were long ago. Can we force it on them? I don't know--human nature probably dictates no.
I could guess work on this stuff all day. Perhaps if they did not have to weather so many successive middleage crusades they too would have thrived and Islam taken a back seat to individual freedom or perhaps not, perhaps that would mean they were the dominant culture of today crushing the west. Humanity seems hellbent on waring which is probably, natural... unfortunately.
I'm not interested in what was, I'm interested in what is, and what will be.
There is a reason you chose not to move to an islamic nation, the reason is synonymous with the reason western countries have a huge influx of immigration from the said countries.
So you're cautious to claiming your culture is superior? I see this as a major disadvantage to what western culture has achieved and its people had to go through to get things such as freedom of speech etc.
I agree that war is nature. I'm not actually talking about [physical war; it's a war of the minds. If you have no energy to muster up the opinion that your set of cultural traits is superior to barbaric systems then I can only say you have yourself to blame when your future generations are suppressed.
pretty interesting statement right here. When you say we are culturally superior, are you speaking in terms of our freedoms? On those terms I completely agree. But that's where it hit's a fucking wall. I'm not going to write a long winded response to the liberal apologetic mindset bringing about our doom, that's just shenanigans, and you fucking know it. Nothing but brainwash to pound our heads into thinking the shoot first ask question last approach is the only way to get shit done.
Freedoms, amongst other metrics - yes, I am in no doubt whatsoever; I believe we're not even comparable because the most basic of values (of the sexes for example) doesn't exist.
Shoot first, ask questions later? When did I ask for that? I'm simply asking my brethren who share the same ideals of equality and freedoms I do to voice their support.
Honestly, Wars get nothing done, it's shifts in the moral and cultural make-up of nations that produce real positive achievements for man-kind. And honestly, islamic culture is simply disastrous.
