There is a rumor that Darrem Charles will compete in Pro Division. I doubt it, but we'll see.

Exactly.

As On_Swole posted he never even qualified to do a proqualifier.

He seems a cool guy, so I mean no disrespect, but assuming PDI gets any pros to switch he will not be competitive at all. There's some asskissing being dished at him as he seems like a nice guy, but realistically his physique is not pro-caliber.But as he said, he has nothing to lose...

Also...if the guys can do both IFBB and PDI as has been mentioned, obviously many guys will take advantage. Other than that I do not see Darrem switching.

We must remember one thing, most of these guys make the alot of their money in appearance fees. The NPC/amateur IFBB is established with hundreds of shows a year around the globe that hire guest posers....PDI cannot compete with that.

Darrem is one of the most in demand guest posers there is. I doubt he'll want to give that up.

Edit: This guy has posted he is considering going PDI. I think he looks good.

He can't even qualify for the "real" Nationals, and when you consider all the crappy guys in the super class of last year's Nationals that's pretty damn sad.

If he's somehow a pro he's not a very good one.....he's just the occassional freak you see in your local gym.

How is PDI going to attract an audiance? I would rather pay 30 bucks to seee real pros. The PDI may sound better than IFBB but without big names no one will go to there shows

Initially, the athlete quality won't be the same. As the money talks, the athletes will walk. By year 3, the only people to stay with teh IFBB will be those under Weider contract, who make more from their deal than they do from show winnings.

But visually... some of the things they have planned are just off the chain. Sick creative. Not like artsy, but more like action/visually stunning/cool kinda stuff.
