Ranger in all honesty gay cultures seems more prone to risky behaviors. I don't want a dissertation as to the reasons why or a litany of risky hetero behavior but in some circles there are bug chasers and whatnot. My question is how old are you and how many times have you been genuinely concerned that you may have put yourself at risk for contracting HIV ? Do you still consider HIV a death sentence or is your attitude more relaxed or cavalier about HIV transmission?

Lets see..I'm over 30 years old. There was one time in my life that I was somewhat concerned that I
could have been exposed to HIV.
I got tested shortly after and was found negative. Thank God! I try to be as safe as I can. But hormones kick in and life happens.

relatively normal life.
No way am I cavalier about it though. I grew up in Greenwich Village NYC and saw HIV/AIDS victims every day. I have quite a few friends that struggle with it and the social ramifications of being positive {POZ}.
The problem with the transmission rate in the gay community is PrEP. {Pre-exposure prophylaxis}

But it's giving guys carte blanche to go have unprotected sex with many many men.

The straight world has swingers. Couples fucking other couples...sometimes single guys banging a guys wife...single girls getting fucked by random guys...sex.
Sure there are extremes in the straight world. But you can't hold a candle to the level of depravity in the gay world.
You name it--there's a gay guy doing it. I would absolutely gross u the fuck out with just the things I've seen or heard about in the last --oh I dunno--90 days lets say.
It's always been this way though. To some-it's part of the attraction of gay sex. The thrill of it all.
