I bought my wife a Main coon for her birthday last year. He is an alpha cat, sounds gay just saying that. He fucks our dog up on a daily basis, but in a playful way. The Main Conn acts A LOT like a dog. Smart and social....very laid back.  As much as it pain me to say, I really like this cat.....no homo :-[

Interesting.  Those gators must not have been hungry at the time.

Surprised to see the cat owner (my guess is that they owned the cats) let them so close to those gators.

I guess the alligator wasn't hungry, he could've devoured the cat with one bite.

Cat got some balls.

True.  Some of these red neck types down in florida/georgia area are STUPID as shit about things.  I wouldn't have shot the gators..  they're just doing their thing.  I'm not really for hunting... unless it's for a REAL need for food.  All these assholes out with their high-powered, laser guided shotguns taking out innocent deer/wildlife for "sport".  Fuck that.  Not what was intended.  Go out with a hunting knife and that's it and "hunt".  Then i'll call it "sport".

Just my 2 cents.

If the gators were in my backyard or in an area where young kids play or family pets I would kill the both of them. They will eat young children and small pets. If I was at a park somewhere they would be left alone.

cats are not social,,they are always on the watch for any thing on their surrounding ,,they will leave you in a second if letting them out in the free,, youll never see them again UNLESS they are hungry,,they arre all about food and nothing but food,,manipulating animal,,

cats are just selfish like many americanos ,,thats why they have them ,,no need to care or give attention since the cat wont give a fuck for the 5 min a day the cat wants food it will come to your leg and rub on it while myahooying,,thats about it ,,rest of the day cat will tann and sit in same place doing absolitely nothing,,

if you been to rough with a cat once,,or if got mad at it once ,,it will never trust you again EVER,, cat may let you pick her or him up but moment you let go it will be out of there faster than you can say jack

THE ONLY WAY TO CHANGE A CATR IS TO HAVE HIM FROM VERY VERY VERY YOUNG AGE FEW WEEKS AND SIMPLY TREAT HIM LIKE DOG WITH THE LOVE YOU GIVE TO A DOG ,,THEN AND ONLY THEN THIS CAT MAY BE MORE SOCIAL WITH YOU BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY IT WILLL ALWAYS BE A CAT AND ALWAYS WILL BE SELFISH CREATURE ,,DOGS ON THE OTHER HAND....ARE BETTER THAN HUMANS,,id chose a human to die before i chose a dog to die

Sure, i'd protect my children if one crawled onto my property.  But i'd be an absolute moron to NOT have a fence protecting my property against them if they were an avid threat.

They tend to be selfish, but i've had many cats and find them awesome pets.  They also give a lot of love and need a lot of love/attention.  Their "i don't ggive a fuck " attitude is what makes them so cool imo.  Kinda like a badass.

Ground control to Major Tom??

Have you ever heard of sarcasm ding dong.  Prime example of a brain dead red neck right there.

My point is that hunters call it "sport" when really the odds are unfair.  Hence my sentence about the hunting knife dipshit.

"Sport".  Laughable.

I take it you've never actually been hunting? I bet a lot of experienced hunters on here have been in the woods all season and havnt even had an opportunity to take a shot. I personally only hunt with a bow and arrow, which requires a lifetime of skill. But even with a rifle its still a skill that takes years to master.

Most dogs have no pride. They have deep seeded emotional problems that leads to anxiety and insecurity issues.

Cats do what the fuck they want when they want, it's called pride and individualism.

My aunt used to have about ten cats that roamed free and used to go around the neighbourhood on their own, they would always come back and were very affectionate. They just weren't attention whores.

Dogs like Akita's are however very noble animals and have my complete respect.

The same clip is online but loaded by another youtube user. The description says it occurred in New Orleans in September. I guess it is some tourist spot where the ferry stops.

&feature=related

I found another clip where a guy put out some food that instigates a smack from that cat.

when every one left you,,when you are down below point zero ,,when you got no woman ,,when you been betrayed by everyone ,,it is always your dog who is there for you ,,it will always be him or her ,,they will never judge you ,,they will sleep in bed with you and comfot you ,,they will know when and what to do because they will act differently they will know youre suffering,,thats why dogs are  mans best friend, much bettter than any woman youll ever find,,and you should always treat them like they are your kids,,because they unlike your american fucked up kids wont leave you to die in some old peopel hospital house ,,they will lay next to you and be with you till the last breath,,wont leave your side,,and remain there till the end!

cats? they will be out of there moment you open the door and youll never see them back,,they could care less,,much like most stupid americanos

thanks...same here.  She had kindey failure back in January of this year and we had to give her sub-Q fluids almost everyday...she was a trooper and hung on for 10 months.  A lot of people don't get that kind of time after kidney failure...so we were lucky.  The wife is still taking it pretty hard.

Exactly. I've had cats and dogs all my life. Cats are just wired completely different. I always tell people if you want somebody you need to take care of daily /somebody that will kiss your a$$...get a dog.

If you want a roommate/somebody that will take care of themselves....get a cat. They are completely different in their thinking. Both are great for what you need them for. Cats have to warm up to you before you can even befriend them. Dogs you just have to feed them and they love you for life.

True story.  House I used to live in you could see the sidestreet from the kitchen window.  There was this really cool neighborhood cat that roamed and would come visit when I grilled.  I noticed him sunning one morning, kinda half on the sidewalk and was watching him.  These couple of young punk assholes who lived down the street came driving up and actually swerved to try to hit him, he got away, but there is a stop sign that those two clowns had to stop at.....I freakin' lost it, ran out the front door in nothing but sweatpants and bullrushed the car......I have no idea how many things I called them, or what I was saying, but they would not get out of the car and just kept mouthing "sorry" over and over and drove off.  I located the kitty and took him to the owners house and told him what happened.  He was an older guy and the punks lived next door and he had complained that they were partying too much, not to the cops, but to them, so they didn't like the guy.  Real brave warriors trying to run down a cat because you aren't man enough to take it up with the guy......still gets my bp up to think about.

I would have beaten some heads that day.  Good for you.

People are ignorant...  of animals in general, not just cats.  There is no reason to swerve to intentionally hit an animal trying to cross the road.  Humans are supposed to be kind etc.  Amazes me what i see somedays.  All you can do is be kind yourself.

Dogs are weak willed. I used to have a Samoyed when i was a kid and it would lierally roll on it's back for strangers, bad psychology.

As for all that shit that GH15 posted. I don't require emotional support from an animal...If their is some type of bond there, great. But i don't need a fucking dog following me around 24 hours a day becasue of some emotional dependency issues.

I can respect a cats individuality a lot more than a dogs needyness that isn't even specific to the owner.

As i said before this isn't the case with certain breeds, a friend of mine has an akita and it couldn't give a shit, if it doesn't like you it will just fucking ignore you. A very noble creature.
