So this is what if feels like to be a Dallas Mavericks or Miami Heat fan in May and June.  Weird.  So much free time on my hands.   :)

I say the Lakers trade Bynum for Chris Paul straight up.  Get Ariza back.  Wait for Howard to become a FA next year.  Phil returns.  Another championship run. . . . And then I woke up.   :)

Seriously, I hope they trade Bynum.  Bush league flagrant foul.

hey if you're going to put him on a pedestal for winning a title after getting lots of help, he should be knocked off that pedestal for getting swept by a team they were supposed to beat

The ultimate wet dream would be the Lakers getting Dwight Howard in 2012. If anyone can make it happen, Mitch can.

Only way they get him next season is if Howard pulls a Carmelo and refuses to sign an extension.  Howard for Bynum would then be a realistic possibility.  Other than that, they gotta wait till he's a FA in 2012.

No way he re-signs with the Magic. he definitely wants to test the market but he's quoted as saying that he would love to play with Kobe. Howard for Bynum straight up? Throw in Odom or Artest and then the trade happens. I think Orlando wants to get something in return rather than nothing if he leaves as a free agent.

Bynum is probably the best Orlando can do.  I don't see another team willing to trade a quality big man for Howard, that has as much potential as Bynum.

Great potential but very injury prone. Not to mention immature.

Definitely injury prone and immature.  Still, can you think of another comparable big that could be traded for Howard?

Nope, I can't. True centers are almost a thing of the past in today's NBA.

Guys that size nowadays in the NBA are playing small foward and chucking three pointers.

I'll be rooting for the Bulls.  Don't like LeBron.

Didn't realize Chicago took all three from Miami this year.

I don't hate LeBron.  I just don't like him.  He lost me with the way he handled his departure from Cleveland.  I could care less that he left.  He should have done it with a whole lot more class.  He thinks way too highly of himself.

O.k., so I cheated and watched the Bulls v. Heat.  Very impressive performance by Chicago.  Very good defensive team.

how do you not think highly of yourself when people have been kissing your ass since the time you picked up a basketball?

yes Chicago very much deserves to be were they are at and if under estimated by the heat this will be a quick series for the good guys

It's obvious that outside of basketball, Lebron is dumb as a rock.

And to have a live telecast titled, 'The Decision'???(and no, I didn't tune in) Like he's some pariah and to assume that everyone gives a shit? "I've decided to take my talents to South Beach'. Still one of the dumbest sounding sports quotes of all time.

Dude...get a grip...you make millions putting a rubber ball through an iron rim.

he came from the projects, what laws has he broken?  he might be a douche but is he anymore of a douche than the rest of them?

was he on trial for rape?  did he get a legendary coach fired?  is he a bad teammate that gets his hall of fame running mate traded?

you have a lot of nerve talking shit about lebron and big ben when kobe has been proven to be a bigger piece of shit than both combined
