While many have openly questioned MMA legend Ken Shamrock's chances against the bruising brawler and street-fighting-legend Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson, Shamrock has remained steadfast in his beliefs that he will emerge victorious from EliteXC's Oct. 4 main event.
In fact, Shamrock believes he will expose Slice's multiple inadequacies.
"I'm going to win the fight," Shamrock said. "I'm going to expose Kimbo. Kimbo's going to be exposed in a lot of different ways."
"[Slice] -- somewhere down the road -- is going to be very, very impressive," Shamrock said. "But right at this point in time I think he's moving up too fast. He's getting a lot of credibility where he hasn't really fought anybody that has any recognition of a ground game. And he hasn't fought anybody with any recognition of a good stand-up game."
"Obviously [the ground game] is going to be one aspect of the game," Shamrock said. "Everybody knows that if I get it to the ground, going for the leg lock, obviously that's there. But [Slice] knows that's there. So I've got to bring a few other tricks to the game."

I would watch any free fight.. Who wouldn't, but it doesnt mean that I am looking forward to it? However you are a kimbo fan... For what reason I don't know. When people label something, it is reflective of his or her own inner battle "within" (e.g. Circus). Clearly, by lashing out, your positive intention is to try to project out of yourself the pain and denial you feel within. Come to peace with the facts - you must find your own inner truth. When someone is in denial, they go to great lengths to rationalize their limiting belief(s). Look into your deep-self and recognize that GREATness comes from those who are humble. Im not a fan of the hype that surrounds Kimbo but I do think as long as he is training under the likes of Bas that he will continue to improve. Infact if he does beat Shamrock (i think he will) a contributing factor has got to be with having a man like Rutten in his corner.

I have to agree with that statment.I don't think kimbo is the best thing since sliced bread but I do think he's better than most haters give him credit for.but thats not the point.He can get better he can improve.these haters act like he sucks and has no chance to improve into whatever they consider to be a real fighter.

Dont get me wrong im not a fan of Kimbos by any stretch of the imagination and the hype around him is nothing short of ridiculous. I personally think the hate comes from him being protected in his last fight (to say he wasnt is delusional) but I dont think thats Kimbos fault that was Elite XC (specifically Shaw) and now Kimbo is reaping what other people have caused.
Like I said I do firmly believe that Kimbo has potential but he needs to spend quality time with quality people and not buy into this hype around him. If he keeps winning solid fights he aint got nothing to worry about in my opinion.
