I'm not sure who originally ordered it, but it was endorsed by Vice President Dick Cheney.

You're an american soldier, on a message board, telling us you condone torture.

to me, that's sad.  I had this glorified image of our forces - brave, honorable, and above resorting to these horrible, inhumane tactics that those savage insurgents use.

I no longer have that image.

Of course I would as long as it was legal. I consider torture ot be things like pulling fingernails, breaking hands and feet..you know things that leave a lasting discomfort or permanent disfigurement. Not 10 minutes of discomfort
