i only know that yates inclined bench press 425lbs..what was the weight on other lifts..

405 standing almost straight up bb rows, 455lb. three quarter deadlifts, 3 plate Smith machine militaries.

The weights weren't as high as many people expected on that tape.
I remember some people I knew who thought they were stronger than Dorian but their form was pathetic compared to him so they really weren't nearly as strong.
Yate's form was very good compared to most pros out there. Slower movements, full extensions and contractions etc.

The same for Lee P, he has awesome form. Form is probably why most people have shitty physiques. I am still learning good form and starting to feel it more the next day.
Lee does train nice and slow...
Worst form would have to go to Paul Dillet or King Kamali

I think very few people, Yates and myself exluded, go down far enough on the leg press. Sure I suppose we have all seen more plates on a press but when you count the plates on the sled, critique his form, you just dont see that today at all!
All you see is a bunch of future knee drama queens doing partials w/a Volkswagen on the sled. ::)

King kamali has by far the worst form of any pro bber i have ever seen. Watching him squat is humiliating.

Strictness & rep speed aren't essential for training, only for comparing strength.

You mind telling me where you're from? I don't disagree that people do shitty reps on leg press, so don't think I'm getting butt-hurt about it, I'm just curious.
i'm australian but i've travelled a lot and always trained when away.
been to cali 4 times and those dudes love piling the 45's on those low angle FLEX leg presses nearly every gym has there and doing 1/4 reps.
dorian's leg presses are perfect in that video...

If you watch Dorian's form it is very slow and controlled. Not sloppy like a lot of other pro's. He pushed on that tape what most people on this board wouldn't budge.

Dorian was far stronger than what his poundages actually represented because the standard for strength for many is Ronnie Coleman's lifts. A 405 BB row for Yates doesn't sound that "impressive" but if he used the form of Coleman he would have done well over 500lbs, just like Ronnie is capable of. I do believe Yates went as high as 475-495 on the BB row, but I am not sure.

Seeing those pics of Dorian training at Temple with Leroy - man, I miss that gym - it's gone way downhill since all the best guys left.
