Title: What is your best exercise and how strong are you in it?
Post by: JasonH on November 23, 2006, 07:13:45 AM

For me my best / strongest exercise would have to be press behind neck (300lbs) or maybe squats (520lbs for reps).

Discuss.

DB rows have always been my strongest lift. I don't know how much I can do because I havn't done them in a while because my gym's 125s are way too light. I must be able to do over 20 reps with them right now.

A strong lift that I can measure is rear bench dips. I do them with 5 45s and a 25 on my lap and have gotten 9 full reps.

hahahaha, watch out Matt, "bigJ" started a thread the other day about how inconvenient it is to be as monstrously HUGE as he is, he also presses 300 behind the neck for reps. ::)

Oh great - my first Getbig Stalker.

My lifts are absolutely genuine and I have no reason to lie - the PBN was for a single, not for reps - the squats were for reps.

This thread is useless without clips.  :-X

Yes, that is true but seeing as I've got no videos of me training you'll have to take my word for it.

nugget please, everyone knows most of us here pull 10 figures, are married to supermodels, have porn star gf's on the side, find Mensa mundane and over-rated. invented new forms of MMA where our white belt trainies can easily wreck a standard double black belt, are in talks with the president so we can buy hawaii to use as a quaint summer home, and invented the internet.

Plus we bench 900 raw for reps with one arm. The other is being used to wave to our adoring fans.

I haven't claimed any over-acheivements. I simply started a new thread with a question which I haven't seen asked before. All my figures are 100% genuine.

Squadfather and his gay-crew are trying to highjack the thread with their hating and jealousy because the heaviest weight they've ever lifted is to lift their computer mouse towards the gay porn websites.

Dumbell Rows - 140 for 6.  Gym doesn't have heavier weights.
Barbell rows - 255 for 6.
Pull-up - 6 reps with 90 pounds chained on.
Squats - 425 for 3.  I'm trying to get to 450 for reps by the beginning of the year.
Toe Presses - 11 plates per side (22 plates) for 4.
Incline Bench - 120's for 6.
Flat Bench - 130's for 6.

Most of these were done weighing between 190 and 195.

any overhead pressing movement, I've maxed out a bunch of machines, I've dont he 110lbs dumbbells but I train by myself so just getting them up into position was a bitch, I didn't try to go any heavier.  When I press on the smith I set the stops to just below my nose, I've got a wrestling injury so if I go really deep my shoulder aches for days, not the good "sore" ache the it really f'n hurts for me to move my arm ache.  Anyway, I can do 275ish on the smith for reps that way.  I've done a ton of weight on all the hammer rowing machines-I've maxed a few of those out and don't even bother with them anymore, I've done over 900lbs on the legpress for reps, I've done 6 reps with an 80lbs dumbbell for 5 reps doing dips.....a few years ago I was really into deadlifting but I did them more in the "sumo" fashion and did 495 for reps....

My Favorite are rowing exercise for my back.

Bent-over-Barbell  440 X 5
one-arm-dumbell-row 220 X 10
one-arm row on hammer-Strength-machine, 330 X 8, also hammer-strength one arm pulldown with 7  x 20 kg (44`s) plates for 6 reps.

2 Days ago i did a strange thing in my chest workout. On the incline press (smith machine) i used a weight
of 110 kg (242 lbs) and did 72 reps (or are that sets ?), in the manner that i did 1 rep and after this
replace the weight and rest for 6-12 seconds (6 in the beginning, 12 at the end) than did the next one, and so on...until i reached faillure at rep No. 72 (my max on the incline is around 390 lbs). I used this workout to give my tendons & ligaments less stress, but train the muscles with another stimulus it was not used too.

Just for that, I'm gonna start working on getting up to 6 perfect reps, and I'll get back to u when i do. I can do 45lbs laterals for 6 nice reps, and 2 pause reps now.

Then I will do 70s as soon as my shoulder heals. :P

close grip bench press 215lbs for 4 sets of 6-8, i have never maxed out on any of my lifts...that just seems like the most impressive thing i do throughout the week though.
