looking great, at 17 wow thats impressive a young goudy almost. keep doing what your doing its seems to be working dont try to bulk or do anything stupid so u get fat, i dont see why u cant gain 5-10 pounds of muscle a year for the next few years, still have some growing in the height department left as well.

Thanks a lot...although there is no way I'm getting taken down just from a few guys who are 5-6 years older than me and have the balls to talk to me like I'm just as old as they are, or like I CHOSE to be poor...it's people like these that really motivate me because I'll just get to a size where I'll post a picture in a couple years(once I start using supplements and start maturing more with age) and those same people that are talking shit right now won't have anything to say.

If all they can do is attack your neighborhood don't sweat it, it means they can't find much wrong with you, although yes, you do need work on your posing ;) but that will come with experience.

Hey Zac! Looking very good! Nice structure with a balanced physique. Most 17 year olds in the gym don't respect bodybuilding enough to even understand developing the whole physique...for that you will be way ahead of the game when you compete in the teen shows. balance...in bodybuilding you are only as good as your weakest bodypart and it all must go together. Also, don't be too concerned with building the largest physique right out of the gate, build the BEST physique and you will be rewarded far greater at the shows. Try not to be influenced by these internet experts that tell you you must do this much this and this much that....Believe me, a physique built on drugs is noticed from a mile away by those opinions that matter and no one thinks it looks good. The guy in the gym and the kids at school may be impressed but the judges know the real deal. At your age your test levels should be high enough to be incredibly anabolic, you don't need steroids now and it would even hold you back in the long run (a couple years) when your going into the teen nats or a big show and the last thing you need is shutting your self down and back and forth at this age. Food is your key and best anabolic source. That and legit training (which by the way when your doing your t bars bend over, don't stand up like that just to get another plate on the bar). Let the muscle do the work NOT leverage. It's funny because I was competing very young and had many negative things said about me by very jealous people and had to learn how to deal with that. Your doing a great job, don't ever let it waste space in your mind for even a minute, it just aint worth it. As far as finaces and bodybuilding goes, the good thing is that eggs are cheap as is oatmeal. 6 eggs and a cup and a half of old fashioned oats goes a long way and is the best bodybuilding meal you can have :-) Good luck, Zac. Your doing a great job. Also, search for some of the older bodybuilders from the 70's and 80's when posing actually meant something and try to practice and duplicate the positions and facial expressions they have.

I'm also poor-ish. I can afford food and a gym membership but little else. That doesn't bother me though because I'm confident in my future.

yeah well, i'm an overcomer...i'm sure 99 percent of you guys are better off than I am(by how you speak) so I'll just use that as fuel for the burning fire inside me...does that bother you that I have an "arrogant air" about me? I'm not arrogant, as a matter of fact I'm just the opposite in person..very soft spoken and humble...not the type of person to go around bragging about how succesful i'm going to be...although it is kinda hard not being able to afford food all the time, and on top of that working 30 hours a week while simultaneously trying to help my single mom around the house with my 2 year old brother, and at the same time trying to focus on school work and then on top of that finding social time for my girlfriend and friends...oh yeah, did I mention that my diet for the last couple weeks has consisted of oatmeal and milK(literally, not even kidding)..I went w/o having food so my family and friends could have a good Christmas...while all the rest of you might pride yourselves in being fortunately well-off because God wanted to make things easy for you and not have you go w/o anything, I'm struggling and learning how to go w/o things that most kids my age have...it's all good though, because really..i know that if God made me poor and without food, he really gave me state of the art genetics to build my physique that I have on oatmeal, tuna, and milk(which is what i have ate 90 percent of)...and, on top of that, I get to learn how to strengthen myself while I'm young instead of having everything handed to me..that way I can support my family when I get out of college and am making lots of money...that is why I have a more strong confidence about me...because there is a long, long, story behind my physique and there has been a lot more than just muscle that has developed.

I'm not arrogant, as a matter of fact I'm just the opposite in person..very soft spoken and humble...not the type of person to go around bragging about how succesful i'm going to be...although it is kinda hard not being able to afford food all the time, and on top of that working 30 hours a week while simultaneously trying to help my single mom around the house with my 2 year old brother, and at the same time trying to focus on school work and then on top of that finding social time for my girlfriend and friends...oh yeah, did I mention that my diet for the last couple weeks has consisted of oatmeal and milK(literally, not even kidding)..I went w/o having food so my family and friends could have a good Christmas...while all the rest of you might pride yourselves in being fortunately well-off because God wanted to make things easy for you and not have you go w/o anything, I'm struggling and learning how to go w/o things that most kids my age have...it's all good though, because really..i know that if God made me poor and without food, he really gave me state of the art genetics to build my physique that I have on oatmeal, tuna, and milk(which is what i have ate 90 percent of)...and, on top of that, I get to learn how to strengthen myself while I'm young instead of having everything handed to me..that way I can support my family when I get out of college and am making lots of money...that is why I have a more strong confidence about me...because there is a long, long, story behind my physique and there has been a lot more than just muscle that has developed.

That's a sad story. Let me give you some advice: If you think spending all that time and energy on bodybuilding is going to make you rich, think again! Put your time and energy into your schoolwork. Get your real estate license. If you have the discipline and drive to go to the gym every day and eat oats and tuna at age 17, you will find more success in practically EVERY SINGLE FIELD than you will in bodybuilding. Plus, last I checked, there's no bodybuilding scholarships to college. If you put half the time into making money NOW that you do into training/eating/getblogging/magreading you won't have to forgo a steak dinner next Christmas!

Compare the two in stats.
Midgets can only look decent in pictures except for you. Get those arms past 14.5 inches and you might look big.
You look somewhat alright in your pictures because your lean, but anyone who's lean looks good in PICTURES. The fact that your 5'7 190 gives us the knowledge that you are quite small in size.
Anyone who has a very visbile 6 pac can look very good in pictures.

Good job overcoming the whole low budget deal. I have the same problems but its school im payin for! oh well take it in stride you know it will just make you stronger in the end.. If you really want to get as much protein as you can without spending alot just buy eggs... thats what i do. Saves me alot of money and hassle also.

I was 190 in high school no problem... there were 2 guys i knew and trained with (not as heavy by any means) that were weighing 220 the other 230 with about the same fat levels as you. both state champs in powerlifting. One did 405 with no shirt with a pause in the weight room. it was fucking amazing. squatted 375 with a bad knee also. The other was a monster hed go all out on everything he did to get better, ended up benching 420 at a state meet. We'd be eating at the lunch table and wed dump our tuna oil in this cup and he'd actually drink it (the oil) just to go the extra mile to grow. One day training he squatted 315 20 times. and im not talking half ass reps... fully paralell. theres alot of freaks out there. i know the 420 bencher was natural but i dont know about the one that did 405 raw... possibly. they both ate all day. alll day anything and everything. werent fat either.

I'm a bodybuilder, I really don't worry about size too much...these terms you guys refer to such as "bulking", I'm not into that..when I "bulk" I build muscle...I don't get fat...I'm almost 200 lbs(8 away) at 5'7'' without any supps and my abs are still incredibly visible.

He heard about me through wrestling scouts, he also heard I did bodybuilding on the side of wrestling/football, which is his main interest..main reason he was so interested was my GPA and how involved I was in school extra curriculars...he already has payed for a bus ticket for me to go visit family in Wisconsin this Christmas break..I know he's for real, he has claimed he is legit and I really "hope you know" that SOME people don't rely on just bodybuilding...I'm a football player at heart and bodybuilding really is just one of my sub-hobbies.

Dude im not going to sugar coat and lie about every physique i see. Why lie and tell him "yeah dude you are awsome like totally huge" when he isnt. And u can take the quotes off the big in big_mal. You know my size. I am big. at 17 i was 200 and still not the biggest guy in my highschool.
Dude no one will get any better if they are rewarded for a B body like its an A. Im tough on myself as well. I have weak points....forearms...lol na im playin, My back is weak and i have stated that many times. Could use better traps too. So when someone says "dude youre big blah blah" i tell them "thanks for the compliment but i have a whooooole lot to work on."

Crazy, considering you bench a shitload. Maybe your chest doesn't respond so well to benchpresses? This is the case with many people with certain structures. You have very good size for a natural, I thought you were a juicer. Definitely impressive. Keep it up, big man.
