I was at the store and looking threw the new issue ( since I refuse to pay 7 $ for magazine thats half adds and run by metrosexuals ) and did not see his column. If they did thats another dumb move. I can't stand David Hernery, but you would drop him, and keep a fat piece of shit like Fagalino.

Many many people chimed in with their thoughts, and I think a couple of magazine affiliates and/or "reputable" people with stars (or whatever moniker a site designates you with) added in the same feelings about Mr. Henry.
Maybe that had something to do with it? Or he could have turned in his column late?!

Well, lets get one thing straight. I don't 'hate' David Henry, I think he his a cool person, and we have talked before on various places and events. That being said, the question was one that was brought to me via a number of people, including at least 4 pros, and way too many amatuers and fans. So, why the question?
First, some background, at the 2006 Arnold Classic, at the competitor's meeting, when I tried to take a picture of David Henry, the guy actually said 'No, no' and turned his head away. That was a major act of arrogance to me, like he was too good or something. But I blew it off, anyone can have a bad day.
But, why ask the question again. And why that one. Because here is something you guys don't know. On the way to the Orleans, David got into the limo, and there were other pro bodybuilders in the limo. One said hello, and David didn't even bother to say hello back to him. That pro said 'why is David so arrogant like that, it isn't cool'. Hence, where the question came from.
No less than 5 pros at the 'Meet the Olympians' came up to me, and thanked me for asking that question. They all wish that David Henry would understand that this sport is a mix of PR and excellent reactions towards the fans. My question was a little harsh, but David had a chance to change the way many feel on his arrogance. His response didn't do that at all.
As for me and David Henry, I have no problems at all with him. I didnt take his response pesonally at all. You guys asked me and Issac to ask various questions at the press conference that others would not ask. I told you I would. If others would ask questions that stir some things up, perhaps the press conference might be a little more exciting. Next show, I will say hello, take his pictures, see what is up. If he refuses, oh well. I did speak to him afterwards, and he was mad, but we talked a little. But his girlfriend is a little mad..
As for calling people out, jezz.. Flex Wheeler, Nasser El Sonbaty, and others were pretty arrogant too at the beginning, but now, these two and I talked and have a great time...
About 49min Ron asks Dave a particularly good question, and started up some drama talked about in the thread I quoted Ron from.

depends on where you are from. sure the recent immigrants here in LA are 5'6" and under, but many of the 2nd and 3rd generation 16-20 year olds in my neighborhood are all 6' to 6'2"

It just goes to show...Getbig.com is the most influential and powerful FORCE in this industry.
If GETBIG doesn't APPROVE of a particular "athlete" then they get dropped like a bad habit. When Getbig supports and approves an 'athlete" then nothing but greener pastures are in store for them.
ALL industry people read this forum. When "they" bash 'the boards' they mean THIS board. ALL eyes are here. Like Cara from MD said to me once...

Most of the columns, suck! Same shit every month. I used to read them just for LAUGHS!
The only one I cared for was Lee's and that one is gone thanks to the Metrosexual Deluxe and his hurt feelings..... ::)

I'd be willing to bet part of th reason why MD dropped his ass was because of the feedback on here.
I dont care what anyone says GETBIG.COm runs the whole fkn industry. The ENTIRE industry reads THIS forum extensively.
Cara from MD once told me that "..getbig is the most detailed and most in-depth look at the audience this industry serves"
I'm sure Stevie B read what we had to say about his column and multiplied it by 1000 and put two and two together.
It sucked. It was nothing about bragging about his strength and BRAGGING about how he has no need for cardio and diets only for about 2 weeks before a show.
Please. Like we can relate to that.

Hey Ron, will there be a weigh-in at the Ironman and how many pros will be skipping it?
Lonnie weighs the pros in at the press conference and to my knowledge no one has skipped the weigh in.
Ron will you be asking any questions of DH? What would the getbiggers like to hear out of David to help redeem himself here?

DH has a killer physique...freaky genetics. A hell of a BB...physically. It's his egocentric attitude that did him in.
