Sorry Look at PRIDE. Many japanese are good.
And the majority of them fight mw or lower. Sakuraba is a tiny 190. Fujita, TK, Yoshida, Nakamura and a few others are the only big asians I can think of. But I would probably take them in a fight against Ronnie.

If Ronnie offseason mass of 310 lbs can get though a full back workout then cardio, he can certainly crush an average man in a fight.
Yes- the top guys - their hands are HUGE. Look at their hands on normal objects so you can reference the scale. getting punched by one of them, with a 40 pound arm pushing it, would be very painful.

Lifting weights will statistically give you an advantage, all things equal, in a fight with anyone.
You will be stronger.
Doesn't mean you'll win. Just means if you had a 20% chance of winning before, you might now have a 22% chance.

NO. Curtis Lefler (Rest in Peace, buddy) didn't do well in Relson's classes until he started learning some technique (it was strengthed based, not leverage based). And I know that Curtis was a better athlete than Ronnie in his current state. (He did strongman events and won the Hawaii event yearly) Too big, too slow, would gas in 15 seconds. Against a regular human, he would destroy them, but against a trained fighter, he wouldn't last.

Ronnie would lose if the fight went past the first 3 punches, hed gas, bbers cant throw straight punches and their body isnt physically setup for it, they dont have the mobility required to fight,dodge punches, and all that mucle devours oxygen required for such activity. So if ronnie tied up with the guy and they fell to ground yeah he might win, as far as exhanging punches i doubt it. Hed be slow and no snap behind his ogre armed punches hed be throwing his arms around in club fashion. It would be pathetic. Fighting and bodybuilding are two different worlds. Never confuse the two. I've seen 160lb guys knock the shit out of 250lb bouncers that thought they were tough. Mind you, i've also seen guys that bodybuild that are also trained accomplished fighters.

Fedor has taken down people who weigh more than Marius without a problem, granted they weren't the best fighters. Fedor is unbeatable at this point.

Like I said Mariusz has a lot of breath and REAL strength, capable of fast movements, I said and repeat Fedor would have a hard time against Mariusz in a street fight (I am a huge Fedor fan, he is the bes RING fighter)... A streetfifght is different, he would't be able to do arms locks on Mariusz, he would have to punch Mariusz to death, there is no other way to defeat a guy like Mariusz. If Mariusz has the possibiçity to punch and grab Fedor, I think that he could choke or slamm him against the floor... Fedor would KO Mariusz on his feet. It wouldn't even be close. Fighters have better footwork, cut better angles, Mariusz wouldn't be able to "grab" Fedor. As Jouka Ahola found out, strength is one attribute necessary.

i say this with some regret because i have personally always loved the idea of being as strong as possible and it would be wonderful to think that if i can smash, break and lift things i could just do the same to other people (if i had to). i think it's a primal thing. you know, be bigger and stronger than the bully so therefore be able to beat the crap out of him too.
i have fought for quite a few years now and i can tell you it doesn't work like that. being able to fight efficiently and well depends heavily on agility, technique, stamina and speed which very heavily muscular types just don't have.
as i said, i wish it was different but it aint. every time i overdue the weights i start to suck as a fighter. my stamina starts going (i could run 5 miles a day - no difference), i start muscle punching (not enough pop), my hands come down more, my movement's stiff and i'm read easier. grappling starts getting sloppy (difficulty getting leverage and can't get secure hooks in on slippery opponents).
you do a lot of tennis you look like a tennis player.
you do a lot of body building you look like a bber.
you do a lot of fighting you look like a fighter. :-\

Finally someone understands!!!!! Thanx Dog. I was talking about STREET FIGHT NOT RING FIGHTS!!! Damn. I told that Fedor would have a hard time against Mariusz in a STREET FIGHT!!! Any big strong guy with some moves is very hard to beat ON THE STREET, no rules no bells!!! When I work as a security in night clubs big strong guys are always harder to handle. In a nightclub fight forget stamina and wonderful moves!!! It is about survival the guys must go outside and you need strength to put them outside. Sometimes you have to handle a 4 or 5 guys fight, you must drag the fuckers or you lose the money... Everything is very fast, I guy like Mariusz ON STREET FIGHT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, Fedor also is but believe that if you see Fedor on a street fight he would fight very differently than in a ring.

look, i'm not trying to be an internet tough guy here but the simple fact is that ronnie has too much muscle to be able to move or defend himself efficiently against a well trained fighter.
this is not a diss on ronnie. he is an awesome bber, but that's what he does, not fighting.
anyone that has spent a lot of time training in boxing or grappling can vouch for why ronnie would have great difficulty with a well trained fighter.

i have no doubt that ronnie would have done extensive close quarter and unarmed combat training as a police officer, but we are not talking about some felon that doesn't know how to fight, we are talking about a well trained fighter and ronnie has created a body that has made himself less efficient to use these skills effectively against a WELL TRAINED FIGHTER.
i do agree that size and strength are great things in a fight but the subject has taken the size part too far for fighting. for bbing? again, the man is a machine and i respect the hell out of him, but fighting? he should carry his service firearm ;D.

look, i'm not trying to be an internet tough guy here but the simple fact is that ronnie has too much muscle to be able to move or defend himself efficiently against a well trained fighter.
this is not a diss on ronnie. he is an awesome bber, but that's what he does, not fighting.
anyone that has spent a lot of time training in boxing or grappling can vouch for why ronnie would have great difficulty with a well trained fighter.

I got dissed by someone here when I said that a guy like Mariusz, with 100% functional muscle, in a street fight can give a hard time even to Fedor. I know exactly who Fedor is, I have been following is career since the beggining and the man is the best. But like I said before, in my case, when working as Bguard or security in nightclubs, I think a guy like Mariusz is much harder to deal with, this case Mariusz can fight and don't lose his breath, like other strongmen, even a very well trained fighter would have difficulty in take down an angry guy like those strongmen guys. What's your opinion? When I see Sapp fighting it makes me laugh, the guy doesn't know how to fight, nevertheless he can pretty much hold himself at a high level in K-1 or MMA, he wins more than he loses...

Sapp is the antithesis of the arguement you want. When he is fighting Japanese/Korean cans, he wrecks them because he outweighs them by over a 100 lbs. When he has fought fighters of skill, he gets smoked. Fujita destroyed him, LeBanner was killing him on his feet, and got mount on him in the MMA rules portion of the fight, he did power bomb Nog, but Crocop made him cry. Fedor is much more skilled than anyone he has faced. His second fight with Ernesto Hoost should have never been called.
