I have a "truce' with adam so this isn't an attack, it's an observation. TA does a good job at what he sets out to do, he has made a name for himself on the BB boards and even though I don't agree with what he says and does he still has made a name for himself. He's gotten himself into shape so I respect him in that aspect. Did he ever have an article ready to go in MD? I don't know. Am I suprised it got pulled if he did? No, not at all. You can't go into someone's house and shit in thier bed, which is basically what TA did on the MD board to Romano. Now I don't know everything that went on so maybe he was justified but realistically what did he think was gonna happen? I don't know how it started but that's all that went on there was thread after thread of TA and others attacking john and everything he's ever done...just not a smart move if you want a guy who may or may not run a magazine to feature you in said magazine. It might not be fair but lots of things in life are not fair.....just an observation.

Unfortunately for you, the great majority of us think you and "David" look like swimmers and we don't want to be anywhere near as skinny. As bodybuilders, "you're only pursuit" should not be what Adam Abeles believes is the "Grecian ideal" but whatever the hell you wish to build yourself up to be.
Just because you don't have the genetics to develop huge muscles doesn't mean you have to try to convince the BB fan population that being skinny is an acceptable attribute for bodybuilding. It's not and will never be because most of us started lifting to escape it.

The best entertainers can use their planned speech or loosely planned speech in such a way that it sounds funny, entertaining but doesn't sound thrown together on the spot. You guys run the show so make it seem that way. It seems to an extent you all seem lost tryin to throw it together on the spot. Obviously you have to roll with the punches because it is live and you have to adapt but have a general idea of the direction you want to go and what you think we all want to hear. We want to be entertained and not hear the same boring shit but it can't sound like some kid in his basement with his friends. Listen to past episodes and see what you can learn. Well having a loose script is gonna go a long way but you have an edge. You are comfortbale talking but you also have to realize that you are still speaking to an audience. The best entertainers can use their planned speech or loosely planned speech in such a way that it sounds funny, entertaining but doesn't sound thrown together on the spot. You guys run the show so make it seem that way. It seems to an extent you all seem lost tryin to throw it together on the spot. Obviously you have to roll with the punches because it is live and you have to adapt but have a general idea of the direction you want to go and what you think we all want to hear. We want to be entertained and not hear the same boring shit but it can't sound like some kid in his basement with his friends. Listen to past episodes and see what you can learn. The Adonis/DA episode would have been good but 6 people were yelling/talking at once which lost about 5 minutes of air time. It's like a bunch of guys yelling at each other at a party. Hope that helps. I can give plenty more advice if you want my .02.

As far as equating to quality in my mind? The show is still in it's infancy. Over time the quality will continue to improve. I'm not an alarmist. Especially when I'm the guy that can see how every week our numbers are increasing overall with what we're doing online.
Another thing I will clarify here is that we have no ill will toward Getbig. I've stated that previously on our forum as well. That being said, the love that a handful of people show us here is truely appreciated. ;)
I thank you guys for showing those here who want a more serious board, without the nonsense, hijacked threads etc., that ours is the place. 8)

Its hillarious. All you have to do is count the viewing or the members at the bottom and match them up with the total.

Way to spoil your signature on the first try! There's almost no one in the bodybuilding industry who will agree with you. The "David" statue wasn't even the ideal of what a body should be built to emulate, which is because bodybuilding DIDN'T EXIST!
Unfortunately for you, the great majority of us think you and "David" look like swimmers and we don't want to be anywhere near as skinny. As bodybuilders, "you're only pursuit" should not be what Adam Abeles believes is the "Grecian ideal" but whatever the hell you wish to build yourself up to be.
Just because you don't have the genetics to develop huge muscles doesn't mean you have to try to convince the BB fan population that being skinny is an acceptable attribute for bodybuilding. It's not and will never be because most of us started lifting to escape it.

I have to agree with Ego. A friend of mine that comes on here has told me numerous times that TA is actually mentally unstable. He reads between the lines and says exactly what EGO said. It is kind of sad how the board have taken over his life. How many boards does TA post on and how many has he been kicked off. He lives for these boards. And from where he lives and grew up he obviously didn't have much social interaction that's why he comes on the boards. They are is life. He has no real life and the boards have made him some sort of a celebrity to his small number of friends and that girl he says he is seeing. h well couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Get help TA. I would love the idea of my belly being so big and soft that it anchors me to by bed, leaving me little choice in succumbing to the pressuring of my beautiful feeder to eat more. I'd know I was being taken advantage of, helpless to stop stuffing everything she brought me into my stretched out stomach, but I wouldn't care because deep down below the blubber I want to get even fatter. To feel my belly spreading out in front of me like a gigantic warm furniture cushion and know it is actually part of my obesely swollen body.
Any Tips ONLYME since you are an expert?

Every time I tell him "That happened a while ago".
If you guys could just come over here for a week and see how happy the locals are that we're here, you'd be amazed. If I were to sum it up with numbers, most Iraqis are happy that Saddam is out and that we're bringing freedoms they never had before into their lives. The few that are not happy aren't even from Iraq, or were members of Saddam's Baath party. For the most part, Iraqis are happy with our involvement and don't want us to leave any time soon.

No. We no more "USED" TA to get attention than CNN uses the war in Iraq to get attention. We just reported on what was happening. Also, MD provides a free forum for those who wish to express themselves in a constructive way. My 500 word submission contest each month is a good example. Well, last season it was obvious that 'New York' was acting obnoxious and out of control for attention and to 'get something out of it' and voila! Now she will have her own reality show.

TA's actions reminds allot of a friends of mine. As a kid and even through high school my friend was always picked on and really not many people liked him. He grew up two blocks from me and his family had allot of money too. He was a real pain in the ass and did just about anything he wanted to cause he knew his family could get him out of it. He was a pest and an asshole. We never did get him involved with us much. And numerous times he got his ass kicked.
Well after high school he got to be friends with another friend of ours boyfriend who was a very famous stunt cooridinator. After hounding him for so long he decided to let my friend work on the A-Team doing some stunts. Well now its many years later and now my friend in among the top stuntmen in the business and has worked on over 100 films and doubles people like Jackie Chan, Charlie Sheen and Tony Danza. So now he rubs it in our faces all the time the power he has and the money he makes. He loves driving his 68 Daytona over and showing it off. And his best revenge was on me. He brought me on board as part of his team and after working on a couple films with him he decided to blackball me and I no longer did stunts. So he got me pretty good.
The moral of all this shit is TA appears to me to be one of those guys who just didn't fit in. Well now he has the power of the internet to do what he wants without any real repercussions. He can say what he wants when he wants without getting his ass kicked or yelled at. He is in heaven. I'm sure this is the case with allot of people on here. The internet has allowed people to be tougher and smarter than they really are. TA is the King of Cut & Paste.

And I completely agree that TA is in dire need of immediate psychological help. Just his cross conversations with himself as TA and Heckler should be an indication. Unfortunately, denial is a very strong motivator, and the fact that TA has his posse of butt buddies kissing his ass doesn't help. TA thinks these guys are his "friends" when in reality they are only helping him pull the trigger. Dave Palumbo has shared many of TA's PMs with me and told me about a few of their phone conversations. On one hand he pleads with us to be involved and how much he can bring to MD, sighting his fan base that numbers 7000 strong as evinced by the e-mails he gets from them. Then he comes on here and bashes us. So we should give him a job? His delusions are monstrous and completely unsupportable, except for the word of his trailing ass kissers. Anyone who spends such immense amounts of time posting bullshit and hate on these forums under numerous names and accounts is certainly exhibiting sociopathic behavior. The fact that he has accomplished absolutely NOTHING yet cuts and pasts his way to self proclaimed dominion over the boards is another strong indication. The fact that he says he laughs at all of this is another. The list is long. The truly sad aspect to TA's imminent demise is that in some respects he does exhibit some good qualities. It is a shame they are so misdirected.
The internet is a wonderful thing, however, the false sense of courage using the computer screen as a shield provides is in itself self deluding, if not the fertile ground for dangerous sociopath tendencies to foster. TA is not the first to challenge me. I've been in this biz for over 20 years. During that time I have been to hundreds, if not thousands of state, regional, national and international shows. I'm right out in the open, many times with a name tag hanging from my neck. Not once in the ten years or so that the internet has been active has ONE of these TA types ever come up and said anything to my face. Some of them have even had their pictures taken with me! On line these guys have balls the size of watermelons. Drag them away from their computers (if you can) and those balls shrink down to barely perceptible shriveled raisins.
I believe TA is worth saving. I believe there is some good in him. I also believe he is extremely troubled and needs help. He needs an intervention, but unfortunately, the internet is not yet recognized as an instrument of addiction. If anyone out there truly has any compassion and love for Adam Abel, they need to find his dingy little hovel, take a sledge hammer to his computer, and take him to a therapist. Anyone who laughs at the idea is only helping him kill himself.
Interesting to see that John Romano, after having enjoyed some of his own tuna receipes, is not only suffering from indigestion but also showing symptoms of paranoia and megalomania ...
