This sort of mindset would never drive a man to a 525Lb bench press

His superior mind muscle connection makes 225 seem like 500. So waht makes you think he couldnt have benched 235 pounds with an equal amount of mind muscle connection?  >:(

I only watched the first several minutes, but notice how he said Flex, Nasser, and Levrone were ones to beat.  No mention of Ronnie.   :)

In the video, Shawn says his favorite restaurant is The Sizzler...

Brutal culinary self-ownage.

Yep I agree, Shawn knew what he was doing and presents himself very well.  People forget how good the guy was, he was bad ass if you ask me.

Just blame it on the Liberals. You know how to do that right?

Tell everyone the Liberals are behind this attack on your credibility regarding your 500+ pound bench press.

Massive verbal diahhrea those first ponderous minutes of repetitive opening monologue that takes forever...Get to the $$#@ tips!

Full ROMs accompanied by lots of going-through-the-motion low-intensity sets much of the time. What happened to "leaving it in the gym" & "increased pre-contest intensity"?  ???

"Yates' absence doesn't matter" then "this year it matters that there's no standard".  ::)

A "Master Blaster" cameo..

all of you little fagggots who throw the 80-100 pound dumbbells on the floor after a set of inclines watch Shawn incline the 150's for reps and then lower them gently to his knees and then set them on the rack, his arms are bigger than most of you clowns legs and he can do it so you should be able to.

good observation,, "dont get scientific with your training, dont worry about the inner and outter head, just train hard" - comming from the most symetrical bodybuilder in history

How long did it take you to figure that one out? Shawn only placed top 5 in 12 consecutive mr. Olympias. Was it his track record that you just found? You'd think he knew a thing or two about training by having the most polished physique since Serge Nubret.

I remember looking at some of his photos in muscle and fitness when I was in High School. 1986, and he was bad ass. He knows training and nutrition.
