Hahahaha this video was just awful. Wasn't really that helpful and wasn't even slightly motivating. You could tell he had a condescending air about him throughout the whole video and thought he was going to win but it backfired and exploded into flames. Atleast it wasn't as bad as blood and guts. This video isn't worthy of my hard drive space....... DELETE!

Each of Shawn's videos have different themes about them. The Final Countdown is his pre-contest video where he tells different things about what he eats, some of his training style (can be found elsewhere), and his plan to hopefully win the Olympia crown.
Maybe he was a bit condescending (I didn't get that however), but overall he was just going after what he wanted and many people confuse that with cockiness or looking down upon others.
If you want a training video of his, get "To The Extreme." That's where he goes through each body part and you see what he does exercise wise- form and he explains it all.
Shawn has a video for each little facet of the BBing world. But if you bought or downloaded "The Final Countdown" for training strategies, you didn't do your homework first.

Maybe you should have looked at it from an educational stand point instead...this would have given you better insight into what the video was really about.

Because those are training videos.
It's like going to a hair salon to buy a lawnmower. Of course the videos you mentioned are the best, because that's what you are looking for. Again, each of Shawn's videos have a purpose; "To The Extreme" is the training video, "Countdown" is his documentary on what he does to get in contest condition, "The Best Of" is where Shawn talks about each of his appearances and evaluates them. You see a pattern?
Watch "Unbelievable" and tell me how that educates you on how to come into a contest at 2% bodyfat. It won't. Why? That's not the purpose that video serves.

I was making the video for the fans to get an inside look on the Countdown to the Olympia.
I never predicted I'd win but that is the only reason I competed.
That said, is there any other video out there beside PUMPING IRON that chronicals the journey? ???
I lived it, the video was for you the fans, the Haters can hate. ;D

I thought this video was great. Shawn came of like a cool person. Had things to say and spoke well. His physique was sick in that video. Minus the spandex ( let the black tights slide because you can wear those at football practise) Shawn was what a bb should strive to be. Notice how he didn't look like a total tool bag in normal clothes? I was waiting for the shiny neon purple tux, or combat boots with cut of daisy dukes. Glad they never came. I prefer the older vids, so im biased anyway :P

i enjoyed when he went over his diet, what he had, what he would not have etc..anyone considering taking up bodybuilding as a hobby/sport shold watch this :)
