if shawn was 5'6 and 195lbs with 4-5% BF a doctor would still label him as obeese, they go by a chart not by body composition. There's a company where I live where they are charging people who smoke more money for insurance they are gonna start doing it for overweight people and they use that same chart. A guy called in to a local radio show who works out and said he had his BF% checked and he came in at 9% but they are still upping his rates cause he's "obeese" according to thier charts.

you can blanket anyone at a certain height and weight as obeese. When I was 19 I was about 180lbs getting ready for a show and I got a form of hepatitus, my BF was pretty low, I was about 3 or 4 weeks out, I don't remember exactly and the doctor said, well you're overweight for your height when I was getting checked out. I took my shirt off to get checked out and he was a little shocked.
didn't matter in the end cause by the time I got out of the hospital and back in the gym 6 month later I was weighing in at a massive 126lbs.

BMI charts are so far off it's almost funny, if insurance company's weren't charging higher premiums using it. I'm 5'10" weighing 190 with a body fat at around 9%. My waist is 31" and I'm considered obese. Something's not right with this formula.

most people who never touched steroids have for sure far more test than you at 40, cause u abused steroids for years.
This is not a smart move from you to mention that, cause that proves you obviously HAD TO BE on maintenance doses to get in shape, this has nothing to do with the training, diet and bullshits supps.... Enough with these grotesque lies.

I lost it. No, its going okay. My leg is much much better so I can walk easier now. Using the elliptical. I'm over in Hilo helping out at our gym there 3 days a week. It is pretty boring there most of the day so I do my cardio there. Still having a little hard time at the not eating at night thing. Eating allot fish and chicken though. Got to get off the milk. I drink just way to mch milk. I love it though. It is 2%. I will be good to go at the Olympia. Hopefully if Apenis starts saving now and Goodrum sells his house, they both will go to the Olympia. I would love to see them and say hi. As we get closer to the Olympia I will start posting up lifts and weight. This is definitely taking longer than expected but something I can do.

Why would you tell your insurance agency that you're 230? Last time I talked to my insurance agency & they asked me my weight....they never pulled out a scale to confirm it.
The way I look at it....until they update their height/weight charts....they will always get a modified weight from me.

No. But it wasn't from a lack of trying. Like Sean said wrong weekend. It would have had a great response from the military except that weekend is something they call RIMPAC. Where the military from all overe the world come to Hawaii and kind of have war games. I had allot of promotion at the bases and participation but that weekend no one was to leave the bases. Plus it being a holiday people had other things planned. But for the 3 day show we had over 6000 people pay and the BB show was packed. I spent an unreal amount of money cause I like going first class. Even carpeted the convention center. Lost about $90,000. But learned the next year and lost less than a grand if that. The one thing i did is take care of everyone. Flew them in early took them marlin fishing and tours around the island. Paid each of them top dollar and flew the pros and their wifes out. I wanted to make sure everyone was happy. Whatever happened I learned Sean doesn't learn.

Trust me i got nothing but love for shawn, i have his videos, i enjoy them, and my cousins come by and watch them and get real inspired by them, not only from his physique but his nutrition advice, every gym i go to in australia has a Shawn ray poster and he is respected here, so shawn i have not hate at all for you bro...thanks for posting here.

Oprah bought the house in California for $50+ million in cash. SHe wrote a check. That is what most of the people like that do. $80,000 is not allot for someone who is going to buy that car. You got to be pretty stupid to spend that kind of money and when you aren't making at least $150,000+ a year. Stars that make monthly payments are usually leasing not buying.

i know from experiance. you guys act you you're the only one that work and buy cars. there pros and cons to everything. if you make good money like you and shawn leasing cars is the way to go. otherwise it's a waste.

Terrible logic. Most cars can easily support 150,000 miles with better cars topping over 200,000 miles. So, if I use typical dumb Chick logic of 15,000 miles per year, the car would last an easy 10 years or 5 years past the loan amount yielding 5 years/60 months of $0 monthly payment. Even if you factor 20,000 miles a year, you still have minimum 2 years past debt.
Just in case Chick starts to think, even if you average $1,500 per year on extended repairs, that only contributes to $125 per month. Start running the value for new car payments (won't even factor the rapid depreciation) minus extended monthly allowance compounded with the cost of money over 5 years will = smarter than Chick.
Math. is. hard.

Because it allows people to have what they wouldn't be able to afford (finance luxuries), allows people to have a sense of importance, it caters to the short term 'now now now' mindset, etc...
To put this into perspective against wealth, I know a few individuals who commute to the city by helicopter. Guess what, they don't lease the helicopters but own them. Think about this.

There is nothing wrong with leasing, in fact it is much harder to do as far as credit goes. The last time I bought a new car for myself (bought the wife one in 2005) was in 2000. I own the car obviously and it is in perfect spotless shape and had 90k on it and will most likey go another 60 to 80 easily. It is not worth a crap though as far as trade in or even selling out right. I will drive the thing till the engine goes and them most likey put a new one in it and drive it for another 100k. Next time I get a car I am going to lease the thing.
I stopped in a BMW dealer the other day to check out a lease and the only thing you have to do with the car is put freakin gas in it and buy tires. Oil change every 15k which they do and they even put new windsheild wipers on it for you. People will say that I do not own it, so what, by the time I paid off my car it wasn't really worth much anyway. Remember this, buying or leasing a car is not an investment unless antique. You lose either way in the end so whether you lease or buy who cares. Get something that you like and enjoy it.

You drive thru the 200k mobile home parks and just look for the 'For Sale' signs. They'll sell nice sedans (which have been driven 45 mph max and taken care of meticulously) way below mkt value.

It is true that the great majority of millionaires are " the people next door" .. meaning that they pride themselves in living what appears to be " middle-upper middle class income" Most drive a American made car that is several years old. The book also states that the most common car of the "Millionaire next door " is the Ford Explorer. 99% of BMW;s on the road are leased or not paid for.
The people who buy the 90k or 110k cars are usually living pay check to paycheck and in debt. I know a Dr who earns over 500k per year. THey live in a multi million dollar house, he drives a Ferari, wife drives an SUV all 3 kids are in college...... yet his net worth is not much because they have next to no money saved.
Then you have someone who might make 100k -150k year.... but has a net worth of 2 mill. But lives "Beneath his/her means". Drives an Ford/Chevy lives in a modest home.

Or could it be that you don't truly believe you have the genetics to create the true physique of your dreams, and that you feel you'll need to produce your best presentation whose shortcomings will be excused because of it's being "pretty good, considering?" For example, "considering" that you didn't really even try. "Considering" that you ate whatever you wanted to. "Considering" that you did no cardio. "Considering" that you didn't even eat protein, much less take steroids. "Considering" that you don't even care about bodybuilding anyway.
Could this be your motivation here? Lately you've tried to explain that you are only motivated to "help" because of your "care" for these people. I want you to ask yourself how "helping" these people could ever be considered enabling them to do something that they, by definition, needed you to be able to achieve, when you will not have indicated that you needed THEM for any part of your existence, other than the praise they stand to offer you, on account of what would then be perceived by them as your superiority to them. You are only seeking to "help" yourself.
