generally i know by the feel of it no soreness or tiredness. i am almost recoverd from yesterdays chest back workout and it was brutal. i have very good recuperative abilities.

and yesterday i done
60 chins in ladders style, ie do 1 rep then immediately after 2, then 3, then 4, then 5 x 4 times.

i did 8 sets of bench in 15 mins edt.

10x7 inclines and pulldowns

5x5 weighted dips

barbell pullovers spesetted with cable crossovers 5x15

this sound weird for me to explain tho its awesome. my mate who is training me trained the body for life winner in the uk male gfroup this year

good workout, just add in some rows.

Thanks Goudy,I tried them today at the end of my shoulder workout.Only used light weights for moderate reps but really liked the continuous tension aspect. Will give them a go for 6-8 weeks and see if there is any improvement.

Looking good John - good size and no real calorie spillover into blubber.  Can you tell us a bit about your diet?  Total cals, macro ratios, meal frequency?  Also, are you doing any cardio?

Cheers in advance bro.

Bad diet and no sleep and you still look great Goudy. you bastard. lol looking great tho. you must have a great metabolism. i have 1 soda or choc bar and i seem to gain nothing but fat. years of starving for wrestling really messed up my metabolism my body trys to hold onto everything.

diet is terrible consistes mainly of chocoate bananas milk with the oddd tin of tuna. really need to clean it up

Oh man, I hate guys like you!!  >:(
 ;D

I know you really push it in the gym tho, so don't get me wrong, I'm sure you've earned every pound.  God bless the compound movement!

Your rep range seems to favour "heavy"  Do you ever mix it up with some higher rep work (you mentioned cable crossovers 5x15)?  Are you doing heavy low rep sets for everyting, or do you go higher reps for some things like calves and side/rear laterals?

Looking great bro.  Press on!

thanks.

ok imagine a standing barbell shoulder press.
now press it up just enough to clear the top of your head
now lower it down to base of nect.
press it up just enough to clear your head
then down to the clavicles again.

that is it. you use a wider than shoulder grip for it.

a rep is completed every time u reach top of head. one rep is not front and back. does this make sense

i do this myself when im doin shoulders. i much prefer it to pressing the bar to a lock out. more intence this way. is this best way to be done?
