Seriously why are they so scared to post there progress pictures? Who cares if you are not Ronnie Coleman?
I would be more impressed with them if they maned up and actually posted their pics.
The little girl's board ironage.us is posting pics after pics.. are there brave men?

here is a dude that Dante is training
pretty good physique

OMG.. you'd roll him into the water (first pic) if you saw him at the beach :o
-
Yeah I'd like it if Dante could comment on this. I tried getting fat once and I didn't gain any more muscle than when I stay near 10 %
what did I do wrong ? Cause his methods seems to be: you get as fat as possible ( and you gain muscle faster that way) than you lose the fat.
didn't work for me, maybe I eated too many calories and not enough proteins ??? ( I eated a lot of protein, around 400)
-
at intense muscle he has a sticky of progress pics
-
Yes I have seen all of those.
I need to see them again because he took them off.
Anyways I am coming to the conclusion that the bigger weights you lift the bigger you will become.
-
high volume is where it's at.
-
That's bullshit. I tried DC but didn't want to stick with it for a bunch of reasons. But one of the main parts of DC is maintaining a low enough body fat level to at least SEE your abs thorughout. And almost daily cardio is also a major part.
That guy either didn't follow DC very strictly or started off as a fat boy.

thats what I thought
-
There's no excuse for anyone to EVER get that fat. That's ridiculous.
-
The DC way of eating is fucking pathetic and a joke.
The Training is ok.
-
Haha look at that guy. His neck lost half his size!
And he's as tall as the TV!
-
"eated"?
monster trying to look educated..
-
stavios, english isnt your first language is it
No it isn't
Sorry guys... but I still think my english isn't that bad :)
-
What motherfvcker needs TWO novelty gumball machines for living room decorations?
-
gumball machines are awesome
-
hahahah I can imagine going into that apartment and that TV takes up 60% of the total living room area
-
hahaha DC probably follows his disciples around at big bodybuilding shows just to collect their shit when they take a dump so no one can take their shit and analyse it, cuz he is afraid his secrets will come out.

im not training that guy, I want to be 100% clear on that, I used him for an example on a thread
-
OMG.. you'd roll him into the water (first pic) if you saw him at the beach :o
lol, you would major need help to get that beached whale back into the ocean
-
I think I saw that guy doing chin ups at the local McDonalds playland

didn't you beg him to train you....and he told you to fuck off..that he didn't like your character
that explains your venom

Stavios if thats what you gathered from what Ive written then Im not even going to start to explain LOL....where have you ever seen me tell a guy to "get fat"? Ive had trainee's skip cardio and not follow how I want them to eat + blow thru boxes of donuts at nite who got fat but hey I just set the outline up, if someone doesnt want to follow it.....thats their perogative.
Alexxx how many of my trainees pics have been on various boards now? 1000? 2000? I dont know of a trainer who has more of his trainee's pics on boards out there than I. Im not going to go search them down for people, Intensemuscle by itself had probably over 1000.....they get taken down after 1-2 years of being up there to save on board space so if you missed them, hey your "johnny come lately" and thats your fault.....Im not going to repost them all back up---it would take 3 months to do that and for what? To convince people to train my way? I dont want to convince anyone. I want people to train the way they want to train and if they get frustrated then maybe take a look at what I have people doing. Every 2 months Alexxx you jump on a new training bandwagon so.....I dont know what else to say to you except, find something you ACTUALLY like to do and go with it and quit worrying about "damn how come those other guys are gaining so fast, do they know something I dont?"

isn't he from canada like Alexxx?
not too many smart people live there

Int J Sport Nutr Exerc Metab. 2006 Apr;16(2):129-52.
"Dangers of excessive protein, defined as when protein constitutes > 35% of total energy intake, include hyperaminoacidemia, hyperammonemia, hyperinsulinemia nausea, diarrhea, and even death (the "rabbit starvation syndrome"). The three different measures of defining protein intake, which should be viewed together are: absolute intake (g/d), intake related to body weight (g x kg(-1) x d(-1)) and intake as a fraction of total energy (percent energy). A suggested maximum protein intake based on bodily needs, weight control evidence, and avoiding protein toxicity would be approximately of 25% of energy requirements at approximately 2 to 2.5 g x kg(-1) x d(-1), corresponding to 176 g protein per day for an 80 kg individual on a 12,000kJ/d diet. This is well below the theoretical maximum safe intake range for an 80 kg person (285 to 365 g/d)"....

so what's the point of this thread? A few guys who do DC are fat? It's dc's fault? That's like blaming McDonalds for people being fat. 1st there are only general guidelines out there as to dieting, so unless they work with DC he's not responsible for any of them. 2nd, it's up to the individual to monitor themselves, if you think your doing everything right and you're still getting fat then who's fault is that?
of course it will turn into a DC bashfest, but c'mon...what ever happened to personal responsibility? Do volume guys blame joe wieder if they get fat? You need to think about what you're doing, if DC told me "al, you look like you'd do well eating a tub of butter a day for the next 2 months".....that wouldn't make sense to me so I wouldn't do it now if he suddenly contacted me and said, "hey, I think you might benefit from....." and I thought it was sound advice then I'd follow it..BUT, if after a few weeks I felt it wasn't working I'd look at it again and make a decision. It's common sense,.......c'mon now.

No. Everytime I switch programs my progress stalls unless I take more rest and even then.. I only grow when I lift heavier weight then I am accustomed to. Check out the difference: http://www.getbig.com/boards/index.php?topic=132608.0

I never said it was Dante's fault. It's just a little weird that so many people have had good experience with it but are too afraid to post their pictures.

doggshit: dont you know that feeding people 500g of protein per day will ruin their kidneys? how can you sleep when you know that you are destroying people from the inside?
Drink plenty of water and you'll be fine.
-
if you want to see what DC guys look like its not hard to go to youtube and search for "DC bodybuilding" or something like that. there's tons.
By the way, I can't say what method is the best but I did use DC training for an extended period of time a few years back. I credit that type of training for finally packing on some size on my arms especially triceps.

Maybe YOU should read this:

no you wont, wishful thinking wont save your kidneys.

Dante, I am sorry if you misunderstood me. I was not criticizing your methods at all.
-
Dante if you want I will bitch slap Steven for his stupidity.

What I have noticed of Dante/Doggcrapp is that he only comes out of his kennel when someone calls him on his training or trainers, but never when theres someone giving him props or asking advice (on getbig)

Nope.

I understand him, Why would he gives out free advices when his job his training people ?
it's ok to gives advices here and there, and he already did it a lot
Also why I tought he wanted his guys to gain fat is that he always say: the quickest way to gain muscle isn't the prettiest but it sure as hell his the quickest ( or something like this )
I misunderstood him, it's my fault
note to alexxx: you would break your hands if you tried to bitch slap me 8)

The DC training is ok.
The diet is just highly irrational and inefficient.
It is totally not needed.
-
Adam, stop hating on Dante, we are trying to give him props here.
we already know your point
-
I`m not hating.
Its the truth. High Protein is useless.
-
I`m not hating.
Its the truth. High Protein is useless.
high protein has to be defined......
but 500g per day is harmful and totally unnecessary....alot less will do the job according to leading scientists.
-
He has NOT created any LIFETIME NATURAL trainee that is beyond the norm like he used to claim he could do.
A lot of the people are obese at the end with no more added muscle than would have normally occurred.
It is HIGHLY inefficient to eat that much protien and live that lifestyle compared to other methods.
It is also not Practical nor economical. Unless...........you buy his Powder or use large amounts of protein powder.
I would love to see some before and after pictures of LIFETIME NATURALS.
Sadly, we do not see many.

Some of the training principles are very good though, such as the full-body element and the static holds.

wrong
How am I wrong?
-
I see no noticeable difference Alexxx.

How am I wrong?
I'm using your logic. Whenever you don't agree you do that, you don't usually offer an answer other than "wrong" or "your logic is flawed" or some other kooky comment like that.

I see no noticeable difference Alexxx.
I am beautifull. Greeks wish they could look like me.

no...more important is the constant progression.(log book)...and that it gives a person something to believe in..it adds consistency...that is the most important thing with doggcrapp training.
there is no magic. there are loads of workout programs that will produce as good or better results..if you stick to them and believe in em and yourself.
anything that gives you focus on progression and consistency will work.

I see no noticeable difference Alexxx.
c'mon now. Alexx looks alot better...

I lost over 20 pounds to get into that condition but I did not stay course. I would switch training programs all the time that is why I did not progress as well.

you made some good progress!

Take some Tren, Winny and a little bit of Test Prop. You should see some changes. At least that is what I hear.

SB is right on some thing in this post, the log book is very important and there are other effective programs out there. I think your selling other aspects of the program short. The cycling of "blasts" and "cruises" is a very simple concept when you think about it but it's not stressed very much in alot of other programs, it's pretty much law in DC. The way the program is set up offers alot in terms of recovery...there's alot of liitle things that you don't really realize until you get down to the nitty gritty of the program. I've got some stuff to do tonight so I can't go nuts posting the benefits and drawbacks of the program but I think it's a very well laid out program that will allow you to progress if you know what your doing.
BTW-I've never seen Dc talk about 500grams of protien...I've seen him say 1.5-2 grams per pound but never 500grams for the average trainer...I guess if a guy weighs 250 then he would be talking 500 pounds. Maybe I'm forgetting something..who knows? I know there are bits and pieces of dieting information out there but for the most part you pay for that info so it's kinda hard to come by. Keep in mind, DC is about getting big so that's what the diet is about, he leaves getting people cut up to guys like Skip-who runs IM and Trooponin.
-
here is a dude that Dante is training
pretty good physique
I think that's a fucking transformation and very decent physique. EgoCrusher, you should get inspired by this and post your fucking pic.

X-Rep training is simply placing a muscle in its completely contracted position, or close to it, against resistance and holding it there until the muscle can no longer contract. Once you achieve fatigue overload, you slowly lower the weight through the eccentric range of motion, and the set is complete. It's a very intense form of muscle overload that's relatively easy to measure - not in number of reps but in seconds.
An X-Rep set should consist of one 20-second contraction and a slow, six-second negative. That's it. For the technique to be most effective, you use it on exercises that place the target muscle in a complete contraction against resistance - a.k.a., the contracted-position movements in the POF training protocol.
To measure the overload , you use a clock with a second hand or a stopwatch, and at each workout you try to hold the weight in the contracted position for a few seconds longer. Continuing with that progression, you eventually reach 30 seconds, at which point you increase the weight at the nest workout to bring your extended-peak contraction back to 20 seconds - usually about a 20 percent increase in weight. The one drawback of this precise calculation is that you have to keep records of each set so you can strive to better your performance at every workout. Remember, overload must be progressive if you want to get the best muscle-boosting effects, so be meticulous.
