I was actually helping Darrem with Renell back stage at the night show. By no means does Renell do anything at all. I have seen him work out many times it is just hard work GENETICS and lots of food. Scary that he is only 140lbs. He will go a long way!

He does look good and congrats to him, but competing at 16 was much more common when I started. I first won at 15 years old. He looks good, but some of the teens in the teen class' I was in were amazing. There was a kid from the Bronx named tyrone Barnes(trained at Tino's gym, if anyone is from there)...he was incredible...I mean thick, complete..not that shredded, but lean enough.
Either way, it's good to see guys building a foundation though hard work....If he takes it nice and slow, which with Darreem being his dad I'm sure he will, he will do good.

competing as a teen is awesome, I competed at 17 myself.
I would have started much younger but by parents didn't want me to train until I was 15 and they got tired of me asking them if I could have a gym membership

That's awesome, Stavious. yeah, it's great to see a teen getting into it...bodybuilding for yourself, (before your interest in girls and such) is a great thing and can only have positive benifits. The unfortuante thing to me is the strong influence of hormone use today. In this case here I'm sure Dareem teaches him about hormones and the fact that as a healthy teen his are high enough to build good quality muscle with hard work.

In bodybuilding i don't think anyone has a "tremendous" future, lol. It is good to get on stage, however.
