I don't think its false modesty, because sometimes in the past he lets things slip that showed he was just a regular guy, I think toward the end (and this is just my opinion) it got to be a pain being Sarcasm and what that entailed that he could not even make regular guy type posts. Now that everybody is taking shots and he dropped the curtain he can be normal but with a edge that he always brought.

I was seeing double in that pic I was that drunk. It was 2 in the morning. Not going to look like a champ at that time of the day.
