Are you leaving the military when your time is up? Its obvious you loathe the military, just doesn't seem the place for someone that hates fighting for our freedom. Maybe you should go to work at McDonalds?

Its obvious you loathe the military,
I loathe YOU and George "bodybag" Bush.

Unless they allow us to kill every friggen rag with an AK..level their buildings..kill their animals..destroy the mosques....and suck up all the oil..this will never end. Its time to go. The muslim/arab people have proven again that they hate peace..they enjoy killing themselves...they belong to a worthless and dangerous religion of hate and intolerance. They have no wish to join the 21st century and are bound and detemined to make the rest of us as miserable as they are. We need to leave as one more American soldier is not worth loosing for a million of these people. We tried to help...it didn't work. Secure the oil and move out.

I love this man. He makes sense. He has a real understanding of the reality of the situation and what needs to be done.
What's funny is to compare him to another soldier, militarymuscle69, whose beliefs are very different. militarymuscle69 is gloating over the war extension money, and claims he's too "smart" to get killed in Iraq. MM69 believes extending the war is a WIN for him and his party. I think that as his job involves dropping stuff from the air and not seeing what's happening on the ground, he feels insulated enough to believe it's going well there.
I applaud you, HH6. You've brought a realistic and honest opinion here.

Prior to this PSEUDO-WMD invasion, "Bodybag" Bush didn't know the difference between a Sunni and a Shite.
Hahahahahaha

This is perhaps the most fcked up thing one can ever imagine.
He removes a nation's leadership, plus all monetary, energy, legal, police, military, industry, education, and all other infrastructure, without EVEN LOOKING AT what the reaction of the people would be without these constraints.
I mean, would you remove all the cages at the zoo without considering which animals would eat which?

Bodybag Bush's mother once said "George was never intellectually curious"

Every day I realize what a threat these pricks are to our way of life..however driving down the road to get blown up in no way to fight a war. Afghanistan sure..if for no other reason then to prove we can win an insurgency. We have the horses for that fight...but in Iraq..unless we plan on sealing off the syrian border and bombing Iran...we just can't win. Sure we could obliterate the whole country..but we won't so its a stupid recommedation. This war is killing my Army. I don't wanna live through the Army that existed after the end of Vietnam. We need it ready to deal with more Islamist threats and other folks.

Amen!! HH6, when did you begin to see the light?
Congrats.

I don't know..I mean we need to be there to make sure we secure whats in our best interests but every day that the war drags on and our guys are getting killed for people who aren't doing a damm thing to help themselves....I'm so sick of these people.

This development is sickening.
Here are some thoughts from Paul Craig Roberts:
"Congress is complicit in the great strategic blunder. Republican flag-wavers led Americans like lemmings into the abyss. The Democrats have already abandoned the electorate that gave them control of Congress six months ago in the false hope that the Democrats would corral the White House moron and lead America out of the abyss....
Like the Republicans, the Democrats serve the few special interest groups that benefit, or believe that they benefit, from the war. By now we all know who these groups are: the oil industry, the military-security complex, and the Israel Lobby, AIPAC. This contrived war, based on lies and deception, serves no other interest....
America failed because the American people failed. The American people failed because their self-righteousness and hubris made them easy saps for deception.
In the opening years of the 21st century the Republicans have made it clear that they are willing to sacrifice the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights in order to wage "war against terrorism." This willingness makes the Republican Party a more dangerous threat to Americans than Muslim terrorists. Muslim terrorists cannot destroy our country's reputation, trash our civil liberties, and wreck our system of accountable government, but the Republican Party has done a thorough job of it."
-
HH6 How do you quantify winning?
-
A smoking crater where the Muslim arab world once stood..short of that....US bases in kuwait and Qatar able to secure or attack any threats in that area. A pull-out of all major Iraqi cities....the diminsihed roll of Iran in Iraq...including bombing..or seriously undermining their government..no ground troops. The free flow of oil from Iraq.

Actually, HH6 is just a hate-filled American imperialist, comparable to a soldier in Hitler's army. His statements on wanting to kill everyone from a different religion isn't reflective of "making sense," or the "reality of what needs to be done."

Rooster.......you can't avoid the facts. (see below) I'd love your explaination as to why a GAY HOOKER was sleeping in the WH. with over 200 visits under a false name.

Nights in White House Satin
The Comings and Goings of Jeff Gannon
By GARY LEUPP
Why aren't we hearing more about the "Jeff Gannon" (James Guckert) affair? Back in February, always the optimist I wrote, "Perhaps we are on the edge of a major scandal here," and inquiring minds have indeed dug up more dirt.
Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-NY) and Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) got on the case, using the Freedom of Information Act to precisely chronicle, on the basis of Secret Service records, the bogus reporter and real-life prostitute's White House entries and exits. From the Secret Service material, Raw Story researcher Muriel Kane produced this listing; I've put the more interesting material in bold font:

Free from Saddam's WMD's I assume? ::)
You mean the one's that were based on Tenets brilliant intell?
-
A smoking crater where the Muslim arab world once stood..short of that....US bases in kuwait and Qatar able to secure or attack any threats in that area. A pull-out of all major Iraqi cities....the diminsihed roll of Iran in Iraq...including bombing..or seriously undermining their government..no ground troops. The free flow of oil from Iraq.
looks like we see eye to eye. So why do you say we can't win?
-
He is going to get his war money with no pullout dates. Where are your fearless leaders now Dems? You can't stop this war fools but I love to see you keep trying.
The Dems are nearly as despicable as Bush is. It's pretty sad that most people have no faith in those that are in charge.
BTW, nice to see you back, pussy. It's always more fun with you around stirring the pot.
-

Yes, the same Tenet who recieved the Medal of Freedom for a "job well done" from Bodybag Bush.
hahahahhahahaha

Cardio! should we start our debate on whose scientist is smarter again? Hell that took up a good 4 days of my free time! ;D

There is a way to win Iraq without air strikes, smoking craters, etc and it doesn't involve 0300 Marines. However, with the goal of securing oil and winning the hearts of minds is 1.) fairly incompatible, 2.) going to having some units achieving their goals while others negate what those units have done. If ya'll only knew
-
Total douchebag.

I'm guessing you left of the "what"....I changed the e-mail on my account and didn't realize you needed re-approval after that. I missed this joint, especially you CJ..Ok enough sweet talk lets get down to bashing each other.

definitely - we are all good folks here. most of us fairly well versed in what's happening in the world, and we ALL give a shit about our country. we just get passionate when discussing it.
Interesting is that we're all just reguirgitating our own wrong interpretations of facts fed to us by 2 or more sets of liars (repubs and dems). None of us "really" know what's going on in the world, in the annals of decision and deal making. We're just arguing about what our channel on the boob tube told us.
however - there is on equalizer. From the world's leaders to the world's paupers, and everyone in between, there are always two constants. Whether you're a neotaint dem, a bedwetting lib, or a global realist, you all have two things in common:
1) We all sit down every day and drop a load. You are a disgusting being for those 5 minutes, and you all share it. no one is better than anyone in this aspect.
2) We will all die and face the unknown one day. It's inevitable, and all the money, power, organs, and technology in the world can only postpone organ failure. No matter how smart, rich, cool you are, you are destined to become earth feed. And, the longer you live, the more disgusting you look. :)
So we're all on the same team on the same scary unknown ride. We just wear different colored socks.

You wear colored socks? I out grew that shit when I was like 5! Ok enough sweet talk can we all get back to being asses again?

Yes. Tell us how many times you cheered when you heard Bush has a new leash to send troops into war for another year. Then, tell us how those 1000+ men lost in that year are worth less than whatever objectives we're accomplishing in that shithole.
-
Ok enough sweet talk can we all get back to being asses again?
Thank God. ;D

Good, I actually had a hard time rreprimanding the students at dismissal yesterday. We can't stand for that shit, I have a reputation to uphold.

News from the Swamp: Democrats surrender
The Surrender Monkeys in Congress finally gave up their fight to set a date for defeat in Iraq, conceding that they could not break unified Republican support for funding our troops. After President Bush vetoed the first war-funding bill that included a timeline for withdrawal from Iraq, Democrats still clung to the idea of a timeline, or at least partial funding with a second vote this summer. Facing increasing pressure to fund the troops before Memorial Day, many Demos accepted a GOP plan that includes 18 various “benchmarks” for the Iraqi government and periodic reports from President Bush. The House voted 280-142 to fund the war fully through September (the end of the fiscal year), including a vitally important provision for the war effort: A $2.10 hike in the minimum wage. The Senate voted likewise 80-14.
Undaunted by the prospect of American victory, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) continue to work their sabotage in the halls of Congress. Pelosi declared, “This debate will go on.” So evident are their wanton acts of abandonment that Iraqi Defense Minister Abdul-Qader al-Obeidi announced efforts this week to draw up plans to “deal with a sudden pullout.”
Earlier in the day, President Bush made a Rose Garden speech and signaled that we would leave Iraq if the Iraqi government asked us to. “We are there at the invitation of the Iraqi government,” he said. “This is a sovereign nation. Twelve million people went to the polls to approve a constitution. It’s their government’s choice. If they were to say, leave, we would leave.” Then he added, “I would hope that they would recognize that the results would be catastrophic.” Now if only Democrats would strive for victory, rather than seek defeat for their own perceived gain.
As a footnote, presidential candidates Hillary “formerly Rodham” Clinton and Barack Obama voted to abandon the troops—a strange way for two would-be commanders in chief to observe Memorial Day.

Any chance that minimum wage hike could have any impact on gas prices/milk prices/everything prices? NAH, dems think we should hand more to the un-educated high school dropouts and make the rest of us pay for it.

Does anyone really win here? It will only drive a wedge even further between the parties.

that is the plan, mm69.
people who hate the other party will let their party get away with anything because 'at least we're not those damn libs'.
Rove prides himself on this division and has worked hard to cultivate it. "Lib" wasn't a derogatory term until recently when every neotaint announcer decided one week to start using it. The sheep picked it up by day 2.
it's comical. you're stupid if you buy into it. but many are stupid and will.

You still on that MM69 kick?
what about "at least we're not those damn cons" Both sides are guilty of this and want a one party system, that can't work, we need (at least) 2 parties
-
we need 3 parties. that would make a difference.
A bloomberg/hagel ticket might be the trick!

This MM69 thing must stem from your lack of trust in people. Honestly what reason would either of us lie?
Anyway, I don't know much about bloomberg other than he wanted a gun ban in NYC.
-

I hate bloomy and hagel is a cheater IMO.
But, they make it a 3-party race which opens it up to be a 4 or 5-party race in 8 or 12 years.

That's starting to sound to much like a democracy. The powers that be will continue to tell you that you're wasting your vote if you vote outside the 1.5 party system.
-
Without a doubt - in a 4 or 5 party system, with 4 to 5 people debating... a Ron Paul or a Mike Gravel would mop the floor with an Edwards or a McCain. They just deliver too much common sense.

care to pass the pipe, bro?
-
care to pass the pipe, bro?
Did you watch the interviews done with audience members following the debates? The next day on cable tv? The political blogs? youtube?
Gravel was the star of the Dem debate - he took on everyone, got greater applause than anyone, and may have won.
Ron Paul was pretty widely called the winner - he very clearly made a name for himself in a room that was very rudy-friendly. He was talked about NONSTOP the next week by cable news and blogs. He has buzz.
These two men had probably 4 minutes of actual talking time, and they used it very well to dazzle their party members. Imagine what they could do with equal longer time in a Pres. debate.
-
it's called money, honey.
-
it's called money, honey.
I know. Those with money and backing by the 2 large parties get to run.
I said that a gravel or a paul could mop the floor with their adversaries, you told me to put down the pipe.
I showed you that they HAVE mopped the floor already, you redirected it to money.
-
you'll have to excuse me, i didn't read anything but the last post.
you should convert to mormonism, I think you'd love it.

What this guy said is right on the money because the democrats are hesitant to block the war funding bill because they don't have anything besides guilt ridden feelings about appearing to be unpatriotic since being patriotic is only about not being afraid to go to war in the first place.
-

You are soooo right!
What a bunch of fucking wimps those democrat "leaders"! Really makes me wanna vote republican... I swear to God.
How do these people expect to maintain ANY credibility amongst ANY democrats? I mean, did they fucking vote for exactly they said they were gonna oppose? Are they fucking kidding me?!!!!!!
-

the thread title should be " America loses again bitches" ;)
-
BUSH WINS AGAIN BITCHES ;D
That's the reality when the democrats are so weak that they give in to any temptation that makes them fit into the illusion of looking less than ultra american. These democrats are so inconsistent that they are afraid of making a controversial commitment to anything sincere as well as knowing how to defend their position with a logical solution since they operate like they are unable to handle the pressure of politics.

You know that's an interesting point. If the war continues to go badly by the 2008 elections the DEms will be remembered as the ones who tried to stop it. That's not good for the republican party as they will likely lose more seats.
